So it’s buyable then! Or able to be copied.
And your owner is a smart cookie who’s making either a LOT of money for his company, or the football club. And without being high and mighty, small attendances, small tv monies and low income streams don’t fund Championship football for long, so there has to be player sales to survive.

We’ve been there.
 

I also don't believe the Villa valuation - surely the reported £15m would have included add-ons.

I imagine that figure was outed by Brentford + NM's agent to up his price tag

Off topic, but I saw a picture of the South the other day, are they doing something/taking seats out the top corner Kop end?

There was like a black cloth box and scaffold.

Doing something to the Hawkeye cameras that are up there?

Not sure mate. Could be a new camera position, they use about 10 extra angles for the premier league than the championship

and they’ve got to finance the new £70 million stadium
 
plus we've only got £20M to spend and £5M of that has gone already (not to mention Jags' signing on fee) :)

This is the signing I wanted to see the most. His movement is fantastic and he's got a quick burn of pace to get in-between and behind defenders. I liked him a lot, then I watched him against Leeds last season and I was totally sold after that. He tore them to pieces and will fit straight in to our style of play. God I hope we pull this off.

Off topic also, I once presented the match ball before a Brentord v Bristol Rovers evening game around a dozen years ago and I didn't know about it until I was in the tunnel! God it's good to be an 'A' lister.

I hope it`s a bit more than £20m. £3m sell-on for Adams covers much of the Freeman fee. £8m (if rumours are anywhere near correct) for the first year USG shirt sponsorship. Perhaps £30 m of Sky money would not be unrealistic. In which case Maupay and McBurnie could be possible, or other choices at that level if CW decides. Hope I`m not being too optimistic.
 

Any deal for Maupay would include a hefty sell on clause which makes the £12m rising to £20m more viable.

I think Brentford would highly value such a clause after seeing how much O'Connell and Egan have increased in value with us.
