Neal Maupay

They’re good at getting money from weak clubs, not from us
Up to now.. I'd go as far as 16 million for him. One of the best in the championship. Has clear ability to go up to the premiership. And will improve. Though 20 million.. nah, mcburnie would be a good candidate to replace maupay instead imo.

One of the very best things that happened to me last year was getting blocked by both Gage and that boorish oaf Sinclair on social media for critiquing their pissy, backward, entitled and obnoxious world view 😂

The thing is Nick, they live in a comfortable social media bubble where the illusion is that everyone agrees with their nationalistic shite, all of which is cut and pasted and lacking any independent thought. It’s one of multiple reasons why I don’t have a twitter account.

I think that’s Gage on the right...

Does anybody other than the top clubs pay 20 mill upfront? It’s normally the top end of things quoted in the press. If Brentford value him at 20 mill, then 12 mill sound a realistic upfront figure.

We don't want to sell him and have no need to. He will go to you or whoever because he has decided to cash in.
You do need to, it’s the well publicised model your club is based on, buy cheap, sell for profit, repeat. As well as paying for the soulless plastic shit tip you’re building when you have a perfectly usable proper ground.

I reckon I'm right. Anyway, all seems a bit OTT by you, have I insulted anyone on here or slagged off your club?

Okay, we’ll either sign Maupay or we won’t. I think we will but I could be wrong. One thing’s for sure, it won’t depend on what a couple of Brentford fans (a large percentage of this insignificant club’s fan base I accept) pontificate on our forum.

Wishful thinking does not stop players wanting to join Premiership clubs. He does. He will.

It's a good stat, but I would guess that this seasons income could well excede the previous 32 years in total, maybe even all time?
I'm sure some statos could tell us.
Try hyperinflated inflation since 32 yrs ago in transfer fees.

They both “represent” our club though. One because he played quite averagely and unmemorably for us 30 years ago for a short time, the other because he gets to strut around pitch side looking like a Tellytubby in a cheap suit spouting inane bollocks through an over amplified mic.

So of course their self importance and “status”means that its fine for them to display their stunted and backward political views to us masses.

On the other hand, Tony Agana is also occasionally an ambassador for the club, so its not all shit. Smart guy is Tony, Gage & Sinclair aren’t.

It’s a pity you both have to waste your time to such obviously misguided nonsense. The correspondent clearly thinks it was ever thus in the Premier League. I guess we were all young and foolish once.
