Ndiaye replacement lined up

We have offered a loan for Diallo apparently, alongside Burnley
Ha ha. Rangers flop. The bloke absolutely tore it up for Sunderland and was one of the best in the league but he's 'Rangers Flop'. Deary me.

I don't really want to sensibly look at possible replacements as I'm quite happy living on denial (not Egypt btw 😁).

That said, Maupay had an excellent record with Brentford and his 1 in 4 at Brighton in the top flight would still have made him top scorer in both our PL seasons. Not followed him at Everton but it's clearly not worked there.

Expect a last minute loan deal for Dele Alli!

It depends what you class as young he has got a lot of premier league experience though. No he wasn’t anywhere on loan last season he was playing in the premier league.

I’ve already said too much on this so I won’t give initials
Oh FFS, here we go again, Baltics fessed up and now we’ve got another riddler jumping into the void, same old. Think Rodley is gonna need a lay down in a dark room with a therapist on hand. Poor lads vulnerable.

I don't disagree for what it's worth. I could see him being if interest though.

I'd take Maupay
I really hope not , ST holder at Leeds tells me only played ok behind closed doors, goes to pieces in front of a crowd and always "injured"

I thought you died on the hill of Dozy a few weeks back Blade56!!

I’m beginning to think the Rumour Mill section is not for you!

But why sign a winger when we play 5-3-2?

Bamford would be a remarkably bizarre signing.

On mega bucks
injury problems
can't score for toffee

get him signed.

Tom Davies?

Depends how flexible he is.

Mark Duffy was a winger.

I see him as one of those players who can drift and take up a role as a number 10.

I don't see him as a chalk on your boots type who just hogs the touchline and can't play more centrally.

This is how the German lads in the basement see him:

I agree. I think in days gone by Ndiaye would've been a LW (like for Senegal) and cut in from there. He has changed the profile of player who can fit that role.
Most inverted wingers should be able to play in our system upfront, as long as there is a focal point for them to bounce off.

Awkward as it may be to accept, it might take Ndiaye leaving for Diallo or Archer to decide to join us. At this level of it is a loan and not perm move, it will all be about how much game time they can get.

Neither of them are big shake them up types like we seem to prefer for one role and Ndiaye is an undisputed pick.

Probably can't have your cake and eat it.

We'd rather be stays but it may well open a door that may otherwise lay closed.

Somebody has probably guessed correctly that it's Lewis Cook. Born in Leeds and plays for bornmuff.

If he ever pulls on a Blades shirt I’m off

I once said the same about Maddie and genuinely meant it. There have been others too.

Once they are in the red and white though, I tend to get behind them.

there’s pushing it and there’s PUSHING IT if we are talking about an Ndaiye replacement
He’s the Berge replacement (allegedly) if Berge leaves this summer. He’s definitely not like for like but he’s solid and dependable we’d need to compensate by adding some more attacking flair elsewhere but he’d help up have a solid base in midfield.

Cook is just about boring enough for us. Could see that one happening

If we did get him that would back up what I think - we don't need a direct Berge replacement in terms of position and style
