I’m content with Everton. As long as it’s not Forest.

Be nice to see him get a move to Arsenal.
I quite like Everton. They have horrendous fans for neighbours, like we do, and are one of the few sides who give us a fighting chance of a win whenever we are in the Prem.

Soon feel he’s wasted at a club like Everton.

They’re all patting themselves on the back about having found a player of his nature but we know better.

Should be playing in top level competitions.

He’d be great at Barcelona or Bayern.

Just saw this after googling to see where he’s off to and I know compilation videos are a bit of a false reality but his dribbling is almost Messi-esque. His close control whilst moving is amazing. I was a bit bitter when he left for Marseille but he’s a joy to watch and I’m still amazed we had him.

Is there any bigger example of money ruining football for clubs like ours, than getting deprived of seeing one of the world's most entertaining players represent us in the Premier League, because the accountants decided it was better to guarantee relegation than let him leave on a free?

Money or rather the lack of it would have ruined us if we had let him go on a free and still been relegated. Have you seen what has happened to the club up the road

I’ve not enjoyed watching us since he left. Two and a half seasons of meh at best.

He’s miles too good for Everton already.

Deserves better than a middle to bottom Premier League club that won’t win anything. He should be collecting bbg medals.

Funny thing is he could have saved two years and showed his abilities for us. He’d have been at a top club by now, which I’m sorry, Everton aren’t.

Sliding doors moment for him. Wasted a year at Marseille and ends up at Everton...

There's an alternative reality where he stays with us, leaves in the January for a top 6 side.

We'll never know.

He certainly could have skipped a move if he’d stayed and got the inevitable exposure especially as Hecky was mainly saying ā€œgive it to Iliā€ as our main tactic. It would have been hard for him not to shine even against a backdrop of average.

Forgive me the nostalgic dreaming, but based on current affairs, it's all I have left ...

If we'd paired him with McAtee, and kept McPub fit, I can't help but think we'd have made a damn good fist of staying up...

Whilst he wasted a year at Marseille, I think there was always going to be a PL stepping stone club before he went any further.

You can also argue there’s an alternative reality where he stayed with us struggled to make as much of an impact in a dire team and ended up at a team like Everton this season.

Inspire of the dodgy Marseille move, the lads just got better and better and don’t really think there was ever a valid argument for N’diaye staying with us being in his best interests. We can argue with hindsight that Marseille was the wrong move, but 100% moving away was the right decision for him.

Think he’d be an excellent fit at Arsenal or maybe Liverpool, wouldn’t like to see Pep coach the individuality out of him or join Chelsea’s cast of thousands.

Ndiaye reminds of George Best in his prime. Both players look quite skinny but the only flesh they have is muscle, giving them great strength, terrific balance and almost impossible to knock off the ball
I saw TC when I first started going to The Lane as a four year old in 1972 and I have to admit, I was to young to appreciate how good he was. Plus, I had nothing really to compare him to.
Since then, Ndiaye is easily the best all round footballer I have seen in a United shirt for the same reasons as you've stated.
I kind of hope he stays at Everton in as much as I get sick of the top four or five clubs hoovering up all the best talent as soon as they have a decent season, then not always knowing what to do with them. Same goes for the manager at Bournemouth and up until his move to Spurs, Frank at Brentford. Be at lot better for the Premier League as a spectacle for all teams to have at least a couple of world class game changing players.

I always watch Everton when they're on live tv. Can't remember the last time I watched games to see one particular player

Although no doubting his quality, his move to Marseille in a way made sense, noting the comments about financials etc. Marseille aren't exactly mugs, currently 2nd in the league this season and it was his supported club, it's a shame in some ways that it didn't quite work out yet. However with what he is doing with Everton, the table is very tight this year and if he can inspire them on to a few wins, they could start getting closer to the European spots. Not sure what placing you need to be for Europe this year but last season it was like anywhere up to 9th. It also depends on how big a big move is for him in his eyes, the rumoured fee for Everton that they paid was £17mill, they probably could start to justify doubling that now, probably putting him in the Spurs/Chelsea area although saying that, if the season finished now Sunderland would be in the Champions League!
