A wee Google on the lad brings up a couple of shaky videos. Obviously the standard won't be brilliant, but he looks tricky and like he's got a bit of pace.

Perhaps Mr. Turnbull has been earning his coin after all? Only a trial of course, but let's hope we can find a proper gem somewhere along the way.

Doesn't look too bad in those videos - but to be honest it looks to me like we have a few trialists in that team? Don't recognise names of Oseni or Ndjoli?

The game appears to be live from 12.30 on Palace's website.

Man City youth player and Millwall youth player respectively. The latter is reportedly being tracked by Arsenal and Palace.

Me neither so I googled Ndjoli: Millwall academy winger-cum-striker with 20 goals in 24 appearances this season.

EDIT: as TomJonesBlade says, Oseni is from Man City where he's described as a "powerful centre back"

'The Londoner started life as a midfielder, which may explain his composure on the ball and strength in stepping out of the defence to start an attacking move or cut out an opposition threat, making him a formidable presence at the back.'

Ooooh I do hope my boss pisses off somewhere so I can watch a bit of this without getting caught.

Has he been released by Millwall for some reason? Odd for a top youth player to be trialing with other teams - especially one in Millwall's division?

Found this on Oseni:

A confident and powerful centre-back, Nathaniel Oseni was already demonstrating his footballing ability for the u18s while still only 15 years old.

The Londoner started life as a midfielder, which may explain his composure on the ball and strength in stepping out of the defence to start an attacking move or cut out an opposition threat, making him a formidable presence at the back.

A Nigerian youth international, Nathaniel formed part of the backbone of the u18 squad that lifted the Premier League North Division title in May 2014, and will be aiming to push on for a place in the EDS.

Palace make you become a member to view the stream, which is a pain in the tits.

You can give any reason you want for joining, though.

Not had too much of the ball, but L'Ghoul looks tricky! Ndjoli had a good chance saved.

1-0 down, though.

Journalistic gold.

"L'Ghoul ghosted in at the far post to head the Blades ahead"

Or more likely:

"A frightening start for L'Ghoul as his horror-show contributed to another United defeat"

Get him signed.

You need a tough skin to play for Sheffield United. Just hope the lad's got big enough goolies.

Seems to want the ball but could do with being a bit tougher whilst on it. Been a couple of occasions when he's been in good space but our lads haven't passed to him (wonder if that's a common occurrence when trialists show up?). Ndjoli has had two or three good chances, he looks okay. Not seen much of Oseni but he's brought the ball out from the back a couple of times.

Sloppy goal to concede but we've looked okay. Palace hard to break down. Couple of chances should've been buried.

That's the last of L'Ghoul for this afternoon.

His last action was beating his man and whipping a good cross in which was knocked down only to by skied over. Should've been a goal. Hope he gets another shot, he's looked decent.

That's more likely to be a communication issue: if he's in space then the game is probably further away from him. If he doesn't know the name of the player with the ball it will be difficult to get their attention.

The Ndjoli situation is a bit bizarre; he was on trial at Bristol City earlier this week and has been linked to Palace and Arsenal so why turn out for League One Sheffield United? The only possible explanation is that he's got his head screwed on and that a move to a team which has been forthright about its desire to promote youth players is better than joining the cast of thousands in a Premier League team's academy.

Only watched from the 40th minute. Think the U21 are a skilful team, most of them have a very good first touch and pass the ball with composure. A common weakness is often physical attributes and I think they could move more and better off the ball, not just come short for it, which they do.

Gilmour and Brooks are good ball players, as is Reed of course. Brown the left back has Geary-like enthusiasm, as has Charlesworth who played right back in the first half. Jo Cummings played right back in the second half, and I think he looks very promising. Unlike most of our players he's big and athletic, but also decent on the ball, put in a couple of good crosses after beating his man. Hard to see what he's missing, maybe he looked a bit lethargic a couple of times, but nothing he can't work on. Oseni at centre half looked decent to me. Ndjoli was ok, but didn't find much room to run into and his touch wasn't always the best. Ighoul put in a great cross just before he went off and looked a creative player.

From what I saw Palace defended quite deep and tried hitting us on the break. We found it difficult to find room and to play with high tempo. We still had three or four big second half chances and should be disappointed about not scoring.

Gilmour and Cummings are u17s so if they carry on playing for u21s next season it wouldnt surprise me if they have contract offers next season
