.... C'mon United you know you can do it. Show Mr Russo how to make a real life blockbuster.
If the 3rd coming of Wilder is to be the oxygen that brings the zombie players of his past tenure back to life (admittedly, Cannon may need additional Cpr) then so be it.
However, I think it is only equally fair to give the likes of Barry & Bindon a second chance before totally writing them off. It must have been a bit of an eye-opener, for 2 young players to have come into, what appears to be an increasingly strained / rotting atmosphere & to perform at their best, when established, existing players have not. If they then prove themselves below the required standard then so be it, also.

Everyone should get a fresh start. Even the players we know are good played badly under Selles. We can’t judge any of the new boys until we’ve seen them play in a competently organised team.

Wilder having been sacked and then crawled back to is going to feel bulletproof this season.

His media before this verged on the brash side, it’s gonna be like having Vince McMahon in charge
Crawled back ?
He should be holding his head high and proud with a huge smirk on his face knowing what a fuck up it was to get rid of him when they did.

Out of Bindon and Barry, I wouldn't be surprised if Bindon went back to Forest in January, mainly because of the amount of competition in front of him.

Barry will probably stay as an option on the left.

Feel abit for bindon

But he looks like he’s playing a division too high for his ability. He’s been weak and indecisive from what I’ve seen of him and nothing suggests he’s deserving of a starting place.

I imagine we are actively looking to end the loan given we’ve sign 4 permanent CBs since he’s been here. 5 if you count Godfrey

I think Bindon will be a good player in time.

A combination of a jump too soon maybe, the overall shambles on the pitch, and the lack of a consistent experienced presence alongside him from the off can't have helped a 20 year old playing at this level for the first time.

Jesus would rather binge watch Mrs Brown's boys.

I’d just say let’s wait and see for everyone. Still plenty of time for someone like Bindon to come good, under a new manager.

all 5 of our centre backs are new to the club and each other take the sensible route and go 3 at the back with seriki and burrows as wingbacks and ditch barry and brooks their both more impact bench players to come on in last 20

When we signed Binden I hadn't heard of him, but i remember reading that some Forest fans were not happy and wanted him to stay and be involved with them in the premier league this season so I had really high hopes for him this season, who knows 🤷‍♂️

I thought I read that they weren't happy because they were buying players from League 1...

Well said - quite agree with this formation. Burrows and Seriki are very good going forward but neither are at their best when defending. Tanganga covering Seriki and McGuinness covering Burrows with Mee in John Egan's position makes perfect sense. Not quite got the potential to be as stunning as we were with Basham and O'Connell as "overlapping centre backs" but should be good enough to get us climbing the table fairly promptly. UTB

I'm guessing that Wilder will have watched every minute of every game while hes been away so he'll know how to set up with the squad hes got and also fix any player issues that need sorting.

I bet the lads already feel a million times better now that they've had a training session with Wilder, a proper football man, rather than some charlatan.

Bet training has been fun for the direct time since early May.
