If we're talking about the entire team in any given match that I've seen, then probably the best is the one that beat Burnley 3-0 in November 2019 and the worst the one that lost 4-2 at home to Shrewsbury in 2015.

Of actual players I have seen live

Best: Kelly, Borbokis, McGrath, Stancliffe, Kyle Walker, Cockerill, Jagielka, Morris, Deane, Agana, Hodges

Worst: Leaning, Kozluck, Alan Wright, Mark Beard, Paul Garner, Gary Brazil, Paul Holland, Franz Carr, Akinbiyi, Cadette, Tony Battersby

Was that an actual team? 4 internationals (by my count) but still horrific.

Bit harsh on Garner, always put a shift in.

People put down individual players and we just rolled with it. Worst team would be relevant to where your team is at.

They obviously ignored the the content of the first post

The post which showed the best and worst teams seen - not an amalgam of players to make a best and worst team.

We get enough of the best Blades XI, worst Blades XI and I was intrigued to see which teams people would pick as we have had peaks and troughs with several teams that would qualify for inclusion at either end of the scale

The 'best' team I've seen, was Arsenal in the 6-0 demolition.
It was Arsenal's youngest ever side that night, it also included Bendtner, I know - Nicklas Bendtner!

The 'worst' team i've seen. has to be the SWFC 0-0 under Jos Luhukay.
25% possession. Only a single shot on target.
If McGoldrick had scored that penalty, I think it would have been 5/6/7 ...

Sticking my neck out United early 70's was full of great players and great memories but, CW's side are very good and they are giving fans great memories also. Worst side I've ever seen Wednesday no matter how people try to polish a turd they are fucking crap, always have been always will be.

We've all got our opinions of best teams etc but I have lot's and lot's of great memories watching Blades over last 55 years "live & TV", I have some really stand out memories United 5 Arsenal 0 in 73 we were 4 up in 17 minutes. For 2 others I've picked us winning 3-1 at piggery in 92 in rain and, of course "Bouncing Day" 4-2 but many many more sadly tempered with some "dross".
