My take ...

Four good saves. Two in each half. You said only one? looks like you watched 25% of the game

Because I didn't mention three saves he made? He also played fast and risky with the ball at his feet quite a few times whilst being pressed (you didn't mention that) didn't close out to block or get a hand to the first goal (you didn't mention that) and let a pretty benign ball cross his frontage between the goal line and six yard box to allow PNE to equalise (also not mentioned)

How much of the game did you miss?

I go to all home games, plus about a third of away games (mostly up north). And the one I don't go to I can usually watch via red button, hesgoal, etc. But I live near Sheffield. If I lived in Portsmouth, I guess I'd only get to a handful of games a season etc. But I'd still watch the rest on tv internet etc. And I could still formulate an opinion based on that. What Pommpey does is inject much humour with his choice of words. (His description of Robinson once as 'As much use as Anne Frank's trumpet' was real laugh out loud). His is the first thread I open after a match. And it usually describes what I've seen. Not always - e.g. I though Basham's defending last night was utter tripe, but at least he doesn't give the sorts of quotes that are given by other folks who watch too much TV punditry - 'Berge is being played out of position', 'Brewster will come good one day with confidence', 'Mcburnie needs a run in the team'. Fuck me, I can watch a tosser like Lineker to get that shite.
Anyhow, that's enough blowing smoke up the southern Jessie's arse. Keep up the good work Pommps.....

And with absolute honesty, if I lived within range, I'd be a season ticket holder (as most of my mates still are, and have been for decades) I'd also do away games if it was possible (because we all know the atmosphere is totally different, if not more refined away from home)

But that's not good enough for Sitwell. If you live outside the sound of the drop hammer and support the Blades, you'd best shut up unless you can devote half your wages and all your weekend and evenings travelling the country to see them (even if they are on telly or on SUTV) And your aspect of seeing them is worth nothing ... goal line cameras, 18 yard cameras, two behind each net, four on the touchlines and four up high on each midpoint ... compared to Row XX in the Petr Katchuro Memorial Upper where Sitwell parks his arse on his monogrammed, cushioned throne of Bladey-Bladeyness, in and amongst the rest of the experts.

Both goals werent his fault!

I'd expect him to move out to cover the first one. He is static when facing that threat. And for a ball to go between six yds and goal line and him not anticipate it, I'd say he's partially culpable. He just ballwatched it to the far post. That six yard box is his territory.

Anyway, what about his faffing when pressed. He pulled of a decent save from the header, and otherwise was heading for a 6/10. But that second goal he has some speaking part in the concession of it

Agree that he was a bit dodgy when he was pressed. Not many keepers would have saved the two goals

Yeah, I'll go when I want to, not just because it satisfies your daft criteria on who can and who can't comment. You must go to every game, yeah? Yet we hear nothing whatsoever about football from you. What do you do when you go? Sit yelling at other supporters because they get words wrong in songs or because they have the wrong clobber on?

You've genuinely lost it over the past few years love. I can remember when you were an asset to places like this. Right now however you're like a bitter old drunk tramp on a park bench, laid in a puddle of her own warm piss, muttering at passers by.

Anyway, what say you, for all the mastery of watching the game in the terraces, about last night's match? C'mon. Tell us why you think Fodders deserved more than a four.

I'll go when I want
I'll go when I want
I'll go when I want
My names POMMPEY
And I'll go when I want
Just a bit of humour
BUT seriously where do we go
from here .Just got that feeling it could
get a hell of a lot worse .4 5 6 transfer windows ? Where money going to come ?
Can we afford to take a 50 million hit ?
Going to be some worrying times 😥

We are the biggest doomsayers in by his division. Some talking of immanent relegation . It's all gone tits up .
Let's look at some facts

Yeah but when you have a wardrobe full of dark clothing and an air of melancholy like I do then you are a shoe in for the Prophet of Doom role.

Wonder if the Blackburn site is in meltdown this morning?

One point (against ten men from being 2-0 up) from six.

I'll leave that there for you

Ill taking losing streaks of one game any time
as someones said blackburn lost at Hull

shows what this league is like

if we can get 13 points from the next 4 lots of 6 game runs we will be on 85 points

I can put up with that sort of slide

Petr Katchouro. I always thought he was shite. 95 year old Steve Ogrizovic gave him 10 yards start at Coventry in the Cup, but still caught him. But some folks rated him - I think he may even have won player of the year award once. Perhaps the subject of a new topic.....?

Well let's persuade whoever is in charge at the League to start again from this position shall we? These stats dont mean a thing.

pommpey please compile your top ten Robinson quotes/quips, I can read during the Luton debacle on Saturday, give me something to look forward to.

A boring season, shit players, middle-of-the-road results, and a relegation scrap to look forward to next season. As someone said to me other day, 12 wins in 2 years - pathetic.

Welcome back to the wilderness years.

I'm easing down on him to be honest. I genuinely, honestly feel sorry for him. He looks so fucking hopeless and bereft of confidence in his footballing ability, it makes me wonder if he actually enjoys being a player any more.

That fucked up back pass and the way he put his hands to his head had me thinking that going through his mind was 'Oh FUUUUCK!' My five a side days these days are full of Robinson-style fuck ups like that and it's horrid. Mind you, I am sixty this year so I have a ready excuse and I'm not on daft wages per week. But he can't help it if he's suddenly turned shit. If you compare him to Basham who always seems to have control, finds space, turns his opponents, drops his shoulder and goes past players it's more stark the gulf in ability. And he has no break from this. We have no stand in LCB. He must be thinking 'don't pick me gaffer' and dreading getting handed the shirt. Against PNE he was grafting, getting forward and trying but he just hasn't got the skills or vision. He's best taking a pay cut and going to a lower team where he can rediscover his game and get some credibility back.

But to us he's about as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest
