Nor can I but I'd give her my best for 10 minutes and she'd be walking with a wobble afterwards

He'd flop hereNo, he's from Liverpool. We wouldn't get him as they only send us their shite like Brewster, Davies, Woodburn etc....
Sharp is an old man who should only be used sparingly. Brewster however makes Adrian Littlejohn look like a prime fat Ronaldo. Doesnt know his left foot from his right, poor positioning, poor movement, looks like he's going to fall over the ball when he tries to run with it. See Jostein Flo in terms of effectiveness.7 players failed to mark 1 man for their opener, but once again Brewster is the target for not scoring goals.
Nothing about Sharp being awful again also, but hey, he managed to score the penalty that he insists on taking to keep his goal tally up.
Is that cos you would have to club her first?Nor can I but I'd give her my best for 10 minutes and she'd be walking with a wobble afterwards
Simon made his comeback post broken leg c1989, last week. This Webster guy seems a reyt player![]()
I never once said in February we'd stay up just for the recordWe would need an entirely new side. I mean, entirely new.
From free transfers and loans, because our wage bill would again be £80m a year.
And with the following season back in the Championship in mind.
We'd get fewer points than we did the last time.
But seriously, going up? It won't happen. Just like it didn't when you thought we'd escape the drop till about March (?) last season.
So the ones who actually go to games are idiots ,and yet some of you still take in what this bloke says. Foderingham 4 is all you need to know about how much this non attending 'idiot' sees.I don't actually think they were that good anyway. With the evidence shown this season, it looks like the first season in the PL and possibly our last season in the Championship were high spots based on opposition shitness rather than a cohesive footballing strategy. A lot of this team starting last night were the ones revered back then and have played more or less constantly in red and white since then. Sharp, McGoldrick, Norwood, Stevens, Basham, Egan which is almost 50% of the team and still lurking in the U Bend are a whole load others, augmented by what is effectively footballing nobodies, also-rans and not-good-enoughs. There aren't many you'd imagine being in the squad come the day we jettison finally Wilder's daft acquisitions, pension off the oldies and create a football starting eleven people would actually fear. Preston didn't fear us last night when they went a man down. They just knew we'd give up the advantage they'd gifted us.
Anyone who dreams this Sheffield United will be anywhere near good enough to grace the top flight again without clearing the lot out and stating again needs their bumps felt. And it's strange how silent the claps are coming from certain happy factions of our supporters. Y'know, the 'you know nowt, you don't go to Bramall Lane' idiots. What say you now?

When we win its because the opposition are shit ,you must have fucking hated our games leading up to Wolves.
Ceefax reports full of insults and 'clever' put downs.
Do you ever intend going to a game ? Genuine question.
Fuck me. You took your time.
So what did you see that I didn't? I note you have absolutely nowt - nothing - nada - zero ... to offer regarding the game. It's just other fans who you concentrate on. You're like Boris fucking Johnson caught with his cock in the till trying to blindside people by spouting bollocks about vaccines and shit. You are one mardy arsed person, aren't you? People who watch football on the telly = unworthy. You are the living embodiment of that dismal twerp Roy Keane, except he does actually comment on football once in a while.
I'll go to a game when it is convenient, not to tick your box, petal. And as shown, I don't need to attend one to keep myself updated on how shit is going down.
Now, if you have anything to reinforce your constant stream of endless drivel or even a fleeting insight of what you clear Bladey superiority brings then lets hear it.
If not, pipe down, love.

He has an interesting style of writing - one that sails extremely close to the mark with some of the put downs but i for one find his My Takes generally amusing , entertaining and provocative. So the ones who actually go to games are idiots ,and yet some of you still take in what this bloke says. Why should I skip the thread ,why shouldnt I disagree , especially when Im called an idiot for going ?He has an interesting style of writing - one that sails extremely close to the mark with some of the put downs but i for one find his My Takes generally amusing , entertaining and provocative.
Don't think he has ever asked anyone to agree with him or take what he writes as mantra - i personally think he has learned to be less aggressive when someone doesn't agree or challenges his opinion - which makes for a much better thread.
The point is that you don't have to go to the game to have an opinion , and to suggest you do is really quite idiotic. I have also found that he supports his views with his rational rather than just bland claims - some i agree with , some i hadn't thought about and some i really oppose.I have no idea how many unitedites there are in the world but seeing as we get an average home attendance of around 25k now a days it suggests quite clearly that the majority dont go?
My brother in law lives in Australia and trust me he is Utd crackers but doesn't attend . He probably watches most games via some medium or other (as you can now a days) and he has an opinion on everything Utd. Many of which i dont agree with but he never asks me to. We have a lot of banter, discussions based on these circumstances. My son is also a Utd supporter but doesn't go as he lives darn sarf. He also thinks Robinson is a liability but hasn't seen him play in the flesh.
If you don't like him , or you suspect of his motives, or whatever - then skip the thread .
From what i read from My Takes some disagree , some agree, some laugh and some get angry but thats a forum.
After all we are all Blades aren't we.
Fuck me you didnt take your time did you petal.
Convenient ? ha ,if we played on your back garden you would go out. love
Usual patronising shit , ironically telling me to pipe down
Yours mardy arse![]()
Please do read the threads, please do disagree, you're not an idiot for going - the point i`m trying to make is that you're not an idiot if you have an opinion and don't go - and thats the ammo thats thrown his way when people disagree but cant verbalise in print why.Why should I skip the thread ,why shouldnt I disagree , especially when Im called an idiot for going ?
I go to all home games, plus about a third of away games (mostly up north). And the one I don't go to I can usually watch via red button, hesgoal, etc. But I live near Sheffield. If I lived in Portsmouth, I guess I'd only get to a handful of games a season etc. But I'd still watch the rest on tv internet etc. And I could still formulate an opinion based on that. What Pommpey does is inject much humour with his choice of words. (His description of Robinson once as 'As much use as Anne Frank's trumpet' was real laugh out loud). His is the first thread I open after a match. And it usually describes what I've seen. Not always - e.g. I though Basham's defending last night was utter tripe, but at least he doesn't give the sorts of quotes that are given by other folks who watch too much TV punditry - 'Berge is being played out of position', 'Brewster will come good one day with confidence', 'Mcburnie needs a run in the team'. Fuck me, I can watch a tosser like Lineker to get that shite. He has an interesting style of writing - one that sails extremely close to the mark with some of the put downs but i for one find his My Takes generally amusing , entertaining and provocative.

Guilty"...After all we are all Blades aren't we...."
I'm afraid I am going to have to dock you a point for using the words "we are", unless you meant that sentence to be read out, as if being said by Noel Coward, in a 1930's play, set in some upper class house, with Lord Lardy-Dar as the main character.
The way it was always said, in the 70's, was with a smile, a shrug of the shoulders, and "...all Blades, aren't we?....", because we are all one family.
Example: You are sat with your mates round a table in a pub, having a laugh, it's your round, you go to the bar, come back clutching three pints, but trip and spill some beer. Your mates start groaning and saying, "for fucks sake.......", but you have your get-out-of-jail card, up your sleeve, by simply smiling, shrugging your shoulders and saying "all Blades aren't we?". Instant let off.
Please note: excessive shoulder shrugging could cause additional beer spillage.
As long as he scores from the spot I dont see a problem.7 players failed to mark 1 man for their opener, but once again Brewster is the target for not scoring goals.
Nothing about Sharp being awful again also, but hey, he managed to score the penalty that he insists on taking to keep his goal tally up.
I remember him playing like Ronaldo at Oldham away a long time ago! Fantastic performanceHe once played with a broken leg you know. Good player was our Simon. Can never remember him being that pacey though. Or still playing now.
Four good saves. Two in each half. You said only one? looks like you watched 25% of the gameC'mon. Tell us why you think Fodders deserved more than a four.
