Can't see another thread on it so here goes:-

Blackman (assuming he's fit, if not will have to be Eastwood)
Baldrick - Basham - Wright - JOC - Stevens
Leonard-Fleck
Duffy
Sharp-Clarke

I'd include Wright, Duffy and Sharp just to get a bit more spirit into the team, they might just drag 8 decent performances out of the rest of the starting XI.

latest

Evans for leanoard and stearman for basham.
He’s out of his depth

When you're changing the keeper, you want to keep the defence unchanged imo.

Evans Fleck Duff in midfield

Sharp and Clarke up front.

Holmes for Sharp around 60 min

Are billy and duffy really meant to be starting? Not sure whether its best to stick or twist with a few of the players

If go for : Blackman/Eastwood if Blackman isn't fit.
Baldock bash Stearman joc Stevens
Evans fleck
Homes Duffy
Donaldson

See how that goes think we would create a lot of chances from that. I think Leon is out of form at min that's why I would go for Donaldson. Leon to come on later on for Donaldson as he starts to tire, and maybe brooks on for 15 mins if he can handle it yet don't want to push him back to quickly.

The whole team is out of form - clarke hasnt dropped any lower than the rest of them

hardytm2004 I'd disagree to be honest don't think Clarke has looked half the player he has been this season. Doesn't seem to do as much running around any more and seems to have totally dropped off form and think it might do him well to spend a bit of time on the bench. I don't think the whole team has dropped out of form I think we are struggling to score. I think we could give it a go as mentioned with 2 number tens duffy and Holmes and think Donaldson is probably the only striker still in a bit of form at the minute and could see it working with him running in behind the defence when Duffy and Holmes strech the defence but we will see. I trust wilder and he will get it right just hope we get back to our winning ways tomorrow and make it the start of a decent run again. We have had some tough fixtures these last couple of months and haven't really played bad at all hence why I don't think the team is out of form a lot of games we have been the better side we just need to get back to scoring like we was earlier in the season.

Why is the whole team out of form ? Is that just judged on the Wolves game against a team who have pissed the league, were we really out of form against Villa ,preston and Norwich or is that just a shit lazy soundbite.

Eastwood
Leonard Wright Stearman
Baldock Evans Fleck O Connell
Duffy
Sharp Clarke

Bash, although decent at the back does not possess the skills to be effective enough when going forward. It would be interesting to see what Leonard could do in that role.
Stevens has been poor going forward for a while and Jack has better left peg so would be suited in the LWB role IMHO.
Duffy links the defence and attack together and can go all out for a hour before we fetch Holmes on.

My pick

Blackman

Stearman Wright JOC
Baldock Evans Fleck Stevens
Duffy Holmes
Sharp

What I think the team will be

Blackman/Eastwood

Bash. Stearman JOC
Baldock Evans Fleck Stevens
Duffy
Clarke Wilson

Without CCV we need stearman to combat their big lad up top

Stearman and Wright in the same back 3 is a disaster waiting to happen! They're both centre centre backs. Neither are the athletic overlapping type.

That's why I was surprised at letting CCV as Basham has been found out at this level and we don't really have an alternative.

However, can't see Leeds causing too many attacking problems so think Bash will be just fine today!

Sharp & Donaldson with Duffy behind for me,,

Wright 18 games, 6 clean sheets
Stears 16 games, 4 clean sheets

Hardly cut and dried either way, is it?
If you’re going to use stats then see what Wrights’ win ratio is to Stearmans’. Not that it matters if there’s certain agendas. ;)

Stearman should start on form alone but don’t be surprised if Wright gets called upon anytime soon, our form results wise is relegation form in the last few months and Wilder won’t want this to carry on so he’ll alter things up needing and expecting results to change.

Hardly worth the reply. Assuming Stears is fit, Tufty will select him. That’s beyond doubt and wishful thinking won’t make any difference.

Blackman
Basham Stearman O'Connell
Baldock Fleck Evans Stevens
Duffy Holmes
Clarke
