It was a very strange atmosphere amongst the away support today. I've never known it so quiet, at least at Burnley the fans were angry. There wasn't much to get angry about, the score was better than many feared it would be.

I take my proverbial hat off to those who went today. Absolute waste of time game, I can imagine it was a strange atmosphere.

You wouldn’t go on the local park and support a team defending in an attack v defence training drills, that’s what it was.

I would pay to watch that match. That would be one of the worst games of all time, well worth a ticket to say ‘I was there’.

They’d need one of them balls with the bell in it like they have in blind football.
