Nigel desperately needs to win this one, failure to beat stunning nonentities like Fleetwood Town at The Lane would be totally unacceptable.

A few more displays like we have had over the last couple of weeks and we are not to far off Car Park protest time.

Really??

No where near the car park. We have lost 1 in 7, lets give him a chance to atleast the end of the season to see what he can do, no need for these sort of threads yet and there might not ever need to be. Still in playoffs and still can't realistically get the autos so nothing has changed really.

Describing another team in the same League as "nonentities" smacks of arrogance worthy of the Pigs. Fleetwood are in this League on Merrit as unfortunaly so are we.

We do need to start playing a lot better but car park protests are a complete waste of time, Clough is here for at least next season, probably longer, Promotion or not whatever anyone on here thinks.

Agreed up to the last bit. If we were mid table come Christmas the club would, and should, sack him.

If car park protests succeed in getting rid of our manager like we did in the past then the only managers that would want our manager jobs are the likes of David Hockaday etc so no thanks!

Failure to give the abysmal, sub-human disgrace-to-world-football Fleetwood the 15-0 thrashing they so clearly deserve would be an outrage. Not only should we demand Clough's immediate self-immolation, but the tearing down of Bramall Lane and the erection of a memorial to mark the day that football died. Anything less is disrespectful.

This thread has really cheered me up after a crap week. Comedy genius, thanks Harry.

1 loss in 7 and talk of car park protests?? Fucking hell....

"We are not to far off Car Park protest time".....really, I mean really???

Has the OP taken one of his irrational pills? Has he finally lost whatever plot he possessed?

Get a grip Harry, seriously, get a grip man. You're beginning to sound like the 3 or 4 Man Utd fans who wanted to get rid of Ferguson in his third, unsuccessful season at the club. It was all doom and gloom in their eyes, so of course, their talk was of protests, banners, and whatever else was meant to exercise their blinkered irritation at not having won anything. I should stress I'm not comparing Clough with Ferguson, but who exactly would you replace Clough with? Rather than finding reasons to cause upheaval, what solutions are you offering, and more pointedly, what answers have you got to support this new dawn you imagine will happen?

How many of those can we go through before we become (even more) mentally unstable? ;)

A couple more results like that and there'll be little to get over-worked about. I'll be able to plan some fishing trips without the worry of train times to London. I am usually an optimist, and I don't go for the "how can we not beat little Fleetwood" point of view, but we really ought to be getting something from mid-table rivals if we want to push on. Not there today, waiting to hear about it.

Looked like we were the nonentities today.

Stats eh? Two defeats at home in a week, no win in three, one point from the last nine at home. Doesn't look so rosy then does it?
