If your mate converted to Law at Nottingham then technically they went to Trent rather than the University of Nottingham. The Nottingham School of Law which offers the GDL and LPC is part of Nottingham Trent University.

Trent was still a Poly when I was at the "University of Nottingham."

Have to say though, I have recently been around Nottingham Trent Univ and it is an impressive institution

i went to Trent.. although i seem to remember the law school was highly regarded

the difference between this and BM is that this site is 'properly' moderated to a very high standard.. so you won't get posts where people are offering each other out and stuff.. it's a better place for it so welcome

You are correct and I understand your concerns as no doubt he would have similar objections f I had said he got his original degree from Oxford rather than Magdalen
