Fucking shit idea. If another manager came in we might end up with a 0.1 points per game average playing shit timid football and spending a fucking fortune to gradually make the squad shitter. Imagine that tragic scenario. In Wilder we trust.

I want Wilder to stay but if he quit tomorrow, Allardyce would be my choice to replace him. He keeps sides up. Yeah his football is shit but we’ve been watching shit anyway. It’s not like we’re going to bring Pochettino in.
allardyce wouldnt keep us up

allardyce wouldnt keep us up
He’s got a knack of going to poor, underperforming sides and keeping them up.

Whether people think his footballs shite or not, it can’t be any worse than what it is now. I’m adamant he’d keep us in the PL if appointed before the new year.

He perhaps should have gone to S6 then

......and the new bloke wouldn’t be ‘one of our own’, which is also an important consideration.

If we are to get relegated on a single digit points total, it’s imperative that it’s done with ‘one of our own’ at the helm. It makes the whole thing much more palatable. 👍

To be honest I don’t really care about the ‘one of our own’ thing.

I like Chris wilder because he’s been a bloody good manager for us over the past 4 years, inconceivably good up to the start of this season.

I don’t want wilder to stay because he’s a Blade - I want him to stay because he’s the best we’ve had for 30 years.

Bassett left in ‘95, so that’s 25 yrs.

‘Been’ or ‘is’. The next 6 months will show which one is applicable, and how that impacts on next season.

Wants wilder out and big Sam in ...I'm done
I haven't listened to this rubbish in months. Maybe part of my apathy around football as a whole, but you have just confirmed I am doing the right thing.

A shit show that should have been canned years ago. The same old attention seeking cretins ringing in 3 times a week because they love the sound of their own voices, yeah, yer know worra mean!

Big Sam, I despair.

Is Sam Allardyce for the job, it would just piss off so many fans and maybe day our relationship until he leaves us and the next clown on the merry go round came in. Would sooner go down this season with Chris still in charge, probably get back up at first attempt and continue to build. People calling for Big San are so very short sighted. The bigger picture needs to be looked at and all teams that do this end up reaping rewards.

Did Man U sack fergie when he was doing so badly? Look at Arsenal now, would they take Wenger back? Like a shot they would! How about Man City when they only scraped fourth after blowing 100s of millions under Guardiolas first season!

Longevity = stability = success

Back Chris.

Probably go back up at this first attempt ? On what basis ? We will lose 2-3 of out best players. Many of the squad is ageing . The midfield in particular will need an overhaul

You'd rather get relegated with Wilder than stay up with a new manager? Are you serious?

See my reference to short sightedness.

It's not short sighted, how do you know we won't get a better manager if Wilder leaves? We could get some unknown manager from abroad who takes us to the next level e.g. like Southampton.

Changing manager isn't always a bad thing. Ron Atkinson had to get the sack in order for Ferguson to get the job!

There are pros and cons to each. I'm a loyal person and believe in loyalty. Yes other clubs are cut throat and yes it has gotten them success, but it has also dropped them in the shit (see us plummeting through the championship trap door).

We have a good manager with Wilder, we should stick by him.

Could smell pork a mile away when he came on.

That programme is full of people wi fuck all to say..and they,re saying it far too loud.
