Sad thing is that if the Man City/West Ham game had happened, he wouldn't have been given the two minutes to talk about it; they’d have been too busy talking about Agueros mood, or the Shammers useless lump of a centre forward.

I feel as if I'm in some kind of parallel universe. Half an hour of undiluted praise on MotD for the red and white wizards who are sitting 5th in the "best league in the world".
I was 24 when we finished 6th in the top flight in 1975. After 45 years I'd pretty much stopped expecting that we'd ever get back to that sort of position. Playing such good football too. Magical times.
