Totally useless so called weapon at this club how many goals have we scored from this action,in fact how many headed goals have we scored. Our set pieces are shocking, can't CWAK watch MOTD and try to copy some of the other clubs set pieces if they can't develop any of their own, some big lads in our team but so ineffective in the opposition box

I'm surprised we don't try and mix it up more with corners. At least taking it short and changing the angle. The whipped in low ball is really difficult to get right, so instead of hitting the first man take the first man out of the equation.

I'd also not be using long throws unless we have big lads on the pitch.

I agree it's an area we need to look to improve. Neither Souttar & Anel have scored this season - you'd expect 2-3 from corners by now.
The long throw seems a bit pointless without Moore. Against Hull it seemed to be a case of "get it in the mixer and hope it drops to one of ours" rather than a specific plan.

We used to be really good at set peices first time round under cwak, clever freekick routines and corner routines even how we used to attack the ball and have blockers, and be a lot more dangerous than we are now (and scoring from them).

Even down to clever throw ins - always was the case of throwing it to the receiver who then knocks it round corner back to thrower who made the run creating a lot of space.

It now seems like we just lob it in box and hope for best now. And throw ins just standard.

When was the last time we scored from a jlt long throw or ever, so why use them?

That’s a very bold statement. Literally

Jack Lester should have noticed this surely and our shooting in general is piss poor - the shot by Rak-Sakyi the other night was like watching a Sunday League game in the park ffs.

I don't understand what's happened to Alan Knill, he was, quite rightly lauded for us mixing up dead ball scenarios and who will ever forget that glorious goal at the Sty? Ones at Charlton and Bradford etc.

Now it's reminiscent of when my lads understand 8 team get a dead ball scenario.

Someone stole his playbook….
