Heard lots of talk from other supporters about sunday being the best game of the season up to now, had me thinking about last few seasons. Not the results we wanted but v villa away last year, v fulham year before, v hull at wembley, v swindon play offs, walked out of every one of them games as proud as could be . Anyway has anyone got other sugestions

West ham in League cup - Doyle's Lambeth walk at the end when we won.

Brighton at home we won, was it 5-4? Rollercoaster game that was.

Hull at home - Leon
Derby Boxing Day
Bolton at home in L1 - all recent

Coventry, Leeds, Blackburn Cup home games.
Forest play off 2nd leg (best ever)

Bouncing day for us but as a spectaculer the fulham game had it all, can remember all there players sparked out at full time
Y - apart from the mad excitement I didn't enjoy it much. Only time under wilder we've been torn apart of I recall correctly

For the first 20 minutes Fulham played the best football I've ever seen. It was just one touch, amazing movement, all in synergy. But they didn't score until we got CCV'd

My memory is awful so I just remember wincing every time they set off in our direction.
Ironically that mad pace would have shaken up the premier League. Wonder why they wasted 100 mill.

That was bizarre, the entire Fulham team just collapsed on the field at full time.

In my memory (first game was WBA away in 01-02 as a 8 or 9 year old) it would be either Leeds when we knocked them out the cup with a Jagielka thunderbolt, or, as already mentioned several times, vs Forrest in the Play Off 2nd Leg. Peschisolido's face about summed it up.

Speaking of whom, I was trying to chat up a Canadian bird once and in my inebriated state I thought it a good idea to start a conversation about him. I wish I could tell you it worked a charm but it's fair to say it didn't!

Think the final score line skews the memory of that match. We were rubbish, Swindon were out of sight in no time, and we needed three goals for most of the match, which we didn’t look like getting. We got two late goals which made injury time interesting but the previous 90 minutes had been terrible.

Yup we were truly, truly abysmal in that match.... pretty standard for round that time to be fair 🤢

I'm biased because of the sour taste this game gave me but it was a shambolic game. Craig Alcock played like he'd been picked out of the crowd.
To be fair to Alcock, he was playing during Cloughs time of fucking around playing full backs at centre half whilst alienating all his centre halves.

Seen some great games over the years but my favourite is 73? beating Arsenal 5-0 and being 4-0 inside 17 minutes, the Forest match was also a magical night and Bouncing Day will live forever though they'll say we dreamt it. We have had some stand out results and games pity we've never quite lived up to our potential.
