This is it folks, the day we've been waiting for, for however many long years it's been, I've been waiting all my life that's for certain!!!
Today we finally lift some silverware!!!!
I don't know about any of you but I'm sat watching the clock for my shift to end in 27mins, my hearts thumping, I've got butterflies and the lack of sleep has been put to one side.
So, let's give the lads a final push and let's get to 100points, lift the trophy, give chezzy a damn good thrashing and watch as history is written!!!!
I think a minutes applause as the team returns from halftime is called for, to express our gratitude for what they've done this year, a fitting gesture to a super club!!!

Here we go then boys and girls, enjoy it!!!!!
COYRAWW!!!!!!!!!!

Witnessing only the second trophy in fifty one years of going to matches, can't remember the first in 1982(?). Setting off at 9-30am, breakfast in Sheffield then match

I agree with all that, except the organised minute's applause. I don't like "organised" anything. I like spontaneous. And also the minute's applause has come to be strongly associated with death, thanks to football clubs up and down the country using it to mark an obituary at almost every game - when in the past it would have been sufficient just to read these things out at half-time.

Fancy not liking our organised football team or the fact we have an organisation called SHEFFIELD UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB;).
COYRAWW. ....AAARRH.

No sticky mattress for me this morning...Flew out of bed.I have a spring in my step and am proud of my team.Hope it goes down as a great day in our history.Billy's 30th goal...Leon hits double figures..and Jake Wright remains unbeaten and scores a league goal.

UP THE BLADES.

Was there in 82 but in my first season going to matches probably didn't appreciate how rare it would be. Will be 10,000 miles away today but listening in to every moment - hopefully it won't be 35 years next time!

We actually lifted some silverware when we were promoted to the Prem. some fans say that doesn't count but in my eyes it does. I mean, It's considered silverware if you finish 6th and win the play offs but not to finish 2nd? What a load of bollocks.
