Morgan isn't completely blameless, as other posters have pointed out. His flailing elbow was dangerous.
Indeed... which is what he was booked for.
However, what I'm saying is that the outcry is only in proportion to the damage done to Hume, not the original incident i.e. a clumsy heading of the ball (there wasn't even a challenge, because Hume was never going to win the ball in that situation.)
The Barnsley fans are saying that the replay shows intent and I just can't see it and it is impossible to try and judge "intent". The only person looking at a player was Hume at Morgan. Morgan's eyes were on the ball and he made the header.
