A refreshing change - Morgan told it as it was - A good performance creating several chances and we were punished for not taking those chances by very poor defending - I think pretty much as everyone saw it which often differs to Wilsons assessment in his after match interviews when you wonder if he's been to the same match!
However, his view that the referee had a good game was quite bizarre -I thought all officials were very poor, petty and pedantic yet missing key decisions
The only other thing that wrankled was the continued 'We are unbeaten' line!
Please everybody understand we have now completed 20% of the season and have only won 3 games dropping 12 points out of a possible 27 - we have given the game away at Coventry, Colchester and yesterday by poor finishing and even poorer defending and yet we appear to have not learned anything!
Rather than bleat on about being undefeated perhaps Mr Wilson and his coaching staff should try to eliminate these schoolboy errors - yesterday was embarrassing at both ends!
On this form we will have shown that we are probably better than most teams in the league and yet finish just above halfway - perhaps our lovers of mediocrity will be OK with this!!

Interesting negative assessment of our league position Fiery. I prefer to think we are only six points off the top and we are proving very hard to beat. We're just lacking a few goals, but this will be fixed as this new team progressively gels. The picture will be much rosier this time next week

Its just that yesterday and Coventry particularly we wasted chance after chance and then let in a soft goal!
Apart from the Fred Karno's attempt by McMahon that gave away the corner in the first place we had several attempts to clear the resulting corner namely MacDonald and Howard who both made a pigs ear of their efforts!!
This is a very poor league and I just get very frustrated that we dominate like yesterday but we cannot kill the game.
PS It's easy to see why Gallagher doesn't score many goals!

Morgan is a throwback to when we had loads of local players in the mid 1960s, eg Hodgy, Badger, Shaw, Barry and Tony Wagstaff, Woody, Munks, Jones, Fenoughty, etc.You can identify more with 'em than the United Nations variety we get now.

Woah woah woah, as Super_Pig says I was merely commenting on his accent. As Loughboro Blade said " possibly the poshest sounding player I've heard in my life", doesn't sound like he grew up in a rough area to me, which is what TSF has said he did, I think.

Well, in that case, just because you grew up on a council estate doesn't mean you have to keep that accent for the rest of your life.

I know plenty of people that have purposely gone to the trouble of shedding their accents to get ahead in their careers.

I though of that but then since Kitson since his youth has either been playing Football or stacking shelves I doubt he's spent a lot of time in Elocution lessons.

Anyway I checked and apparently he was born in Hitchen, a Market Town of about 30,000 people. An unlikely place to have a rough council estate I would have said. It could be that it does, or that Kitson put misinformation in his columns to hide his identity or more likely he's not actually TSF.

Friend of mine played under Wilder; I asked him what he thought when Speed left and Wilder was linked to the job.

The days of the Lisbon Lions are over,this a throw back to the people from Yorkshire can only play for Yorkshire days?? Can think of at least 6 or 7 in the last few years that came up from our youth set-up,That played for us before moving to pasture new, get over it fella the earth is round, not flat.
