I nearly forgot his name today while purring over Ndiaye's ability/potential. I don't think I've ever seen such a prospect as Ndiaye in my 40 plus years of watching United. Destined for the very top. Just hope we get promoted and can keep him for another season or two. Could build an era on Ndiaye. Amazing asset.

He will be sold.

He’s the only player we have, in my opinion, that could consistently perform in the Premiership.

Probably not....he might decide to do a Sol Campbell and leave on a free after next season.....then he's virtually guaranteed to become a millionaire.

I think you overestimate the step up a little bit.
Plenty of our players comfortably adapted to that level last time.

The likes of Baldock, Bogle, Anel, Egan, RND ... would all be fine. So would others (Norwood) if they were surrounded by the right players.

You mean adapted comfortably by finishing bottom like last time ? (Most of that team are still with us)

Sorry to disagree Captain but the current squad will struggle in the Premiership and I’m not sure our recruitment methods will drag in probably the 6 or so quality players to keep us up.

Just my opinion.

You are not alone in this.

MGW though! I thank you for nurturing him. What a pleasure to watch him play.
If you are fancying IN as better, he must be incredible. Most of the traditional mid tier clubs are in danger this year so surely you can convince him to stay and go up together

Fuck Gibbs-White. Any player who signs for them cunts after the play off debacle last year has no affiliation to the Blades in my eyes.
In fairness the signing on fee and wages and guaranteed starting spot for a player given that transfer fee, that wasn't guaranteed football at wolves due to "being English" would be something I imagine anyone would agree to on here, fair play and thanks for the memories!

He’ll go at the end of the season regardless if we are promoted, he’s committed to the cause it seems now but the soundbites suggest he doesn’t want to remain after the end of his contract…. I should say his agent doesn’t want him to remain….

Agree. Ditto Henderson. Was good while it lasted but they are not Blades when they pull on a Forest or a Pig shirt. I can forgive some clubs not them. Although Wednesday are getting to the stage where no one gives a fuck who plays for them or where they are!

Ndiaye obviously benefited from having MGW here for a year, took the empathize off him in his debut season, he has stepped up and surpassed MGW (imo).

Would I take MGW back now? Possibly not, unless we change the system, I think Ndiaye is arguably better (but against championship opposition, when in the in-form team).

Does he have a relegation minimum fee release clause? If not I doubt it. I could see him going to Man City to sit on their bench to fill their home grown quota.

Or even Liverpool to revitalise their midfield

If his agent is smart he would have some form of relegation clause.

We would need a actual billionaire owner to risk it especially if we keep Ndiaye. If we cash him in due to him not signing a new contract or might work
