The FA have charged Morgan for the Van Persie "Punch".

Bar Stewards!

Apart from Wenger, who actually saw Morgan allegedly punch Van girly? All TV replays show are Morgs brushing his hand across as he backs off. I am right in thinking that is all that happened? If so then shame on the FA, all of Arsenals players are made of glass but yet Morgs stands strong after two blatant punches to him and only one of them gets punished.

O well! Can't say I'm surprised, FAPL are predictable at times. It still mystify me that they will use vidoe evidence for incidents like this that refs don't see but won't use it for blatant diving that refs missed, go figure!!

He did punch him in chest, but nothign serious, and i dont think merits punishment, was just heat of moment thing and nothing serious

Nothing compared to the Angel elbow......but i suppose he won't be allowed to mention such things.

Well to be fair we were chanting "Morgan knock him out" but id hardly call that knocking him out. :)

They might charge him with Being elbowed in the face and being punched in the mouth too.
That's just a load of crap, he did feck all.

Bar stewards, Van Persie's probably giggling like a teenage schoolgirl right now over this news whilst trying on his latest pair of tights or stockings.

Care to tell us something you know that we don't? I would have thought if anything he doesn't give a shit and is having sex with his very beautiful girlfriend.

:D

Anyway, prey tell me how the referee said he would have sent Morgs off for this had he seen it but yet, Angel gets away directley infront of the ref?

Gays, all of them :D

My email to the FA.......

After watching football for over 35 years I'm totally disgusted with the decision with regard to Chris Morgan and Van Persie.

Nothing done about a "sexual assault" by Diouf on Paddy Kenny.

Nothing done about the elbow by Angel against Morgan.

Hide behind rules if you must......cowards the lot of you.

A complete disgrace to the name of football the lot of you.

You should all hang your heads in shame to let the cheats win.

I don't expect a reply from you cowards!

"Where specific football expertise is required e.g. to decide on whether an act amounts to violent conduct, that expertise is provided by the match referee.

At the top end of the game, most incidents involving players are handled under a Fast Track system which aims to deal with such incidents before the next match."

I presume thats an intentional mistake and should read "..by the match referee and/or (in any event involving Arsenal Football Club) David Dein/Arsene Wenger"

Interestingly, a 3-match ban is the maximum he could have got without the opportunity of an appeal.

You just get an automatic response.........

Thank you for contacting The Football Association.

Disciplinary Procedures

The official FA Disciplinary Procedures are outlined on The FA website and can be found here. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/Procedures/

For many disciplinary decisions we will put a story on the website explaining the procedures. Due to the processes involved and the often sensitive nature of disciplinary procedures we cannot elaborate on official FA statements.

A fast-track disciplinary system was introduced in time for the 2004-05 season in the Premier League, the Football League and the Football Conference National.

For an overview of the system please click here. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/Procedures/Postings/2004/07/NewDisciplinaryCode.htm

Your feedback is used in order to identify grey areas in the clarification of our procedures and also to gauge public opinion surrounding topical issues. This information is then filtered through to the key decision makers in the organisation.

Morgan tickles that big jessie van Persil and gets a ban, Angel nearly takes Morgan's head off and fuck-all is done about it.
As for Wenger's comments, "That's Sheffield United frankly. I accept we will be kicked because we have a young team", well what a load of shit. Whenever an Arsenal player transgresses, it's a case of "I didn't see it." That's because you had your head up your bottom, Arsene. All thoughts of that big thug that used to play for him have gone - Patrick Vieira was of course a little cherub on the pitch.
Arsenal are very accomplished at kicking, hitting and general "gamesmanship", or cheating as it's better known. Wenger should learn to keep his mouth shut a bit more.

Baptista led with his arm on at least 3 occasions. That's a lot more dangerous than what Morgan did.
