Sorry if it's been posted somewhere else but did anyone see the pre-match handshakes?
Wondered if Hume shook Morgan's hand??

I'm pretty sure they shook hands when Hulme went off near the end.

UTB

They shook hands and had a couple of little chats.

Fair play to Hume for it, hopefully it'll be an end to it now. I hope it was pantomime but I felt a bit uneasy with Hume being booed. It was wankers like Davey and that MP who were spouting off, to be fair to the lad, he did nearly die!

I don't think it helped that he spent most of the first half diving/asking for free-kicks.

In my eyes it was a shocker of an elbow from Morgs no 2 ways about it, but these things happen in football a lot and Hume was unlucky enough to need major surgery after it. Its good to see that now with that prick Davey out the way some sense might prevail and it could become a thing of the past.

He "nearly died" (if that was the case) because Barnsley's medical staff saw fit to send him home after the match and he then picked up an infection in hospital.

He was an unfortunate puppet in Barnsley's propaganda war. Davey used it to take away attention from his incompetence and we all know what Cryne was trying to keep quiet.

I agree completely and I'm not knocking Morgan, as another poster said, these things happen. Hopefully that'll be an end to it although I get the impression the six fingered lot want their pound of flesh at Oakwell.

Still, don't think the booing was merited.

Davey has found his level with Darlington.
Conference next season.

With all due respect I don't think that had anything to do with it.

It did around us, with people having a go at him to get up and stop attempting to "milk" the situation.

i agree with most on here, that it is water under the bridge and the lad made a good recovery which is the most important thing, but now we should all move on.wanker davey should have had more sense with the situation and played it down instead of milking it to deflect his crap management style.however, what you see is what you get with morgs,100%,if we only had more like him in the team.he is by no means the worst, look at ferdinand, vidic, shawcross and the daddy of em all shearer, anyone remember when he nearly kicked neil lennon,s head into the crowd, dont remember any mp getting involved with that

Barnsley fans seem to have forgotten all about it now. They were very quiet during yesterdays match and Morgan hardly got any boos at all.

I'm assuming you were on the Kop and the sound didn't carry as there were loads of chants of 'Morgan is a wanker'

I think it should be allowed to die a death now, pardon the pun.

Both players played yesterday, shook hands and got on with it with minimal fuss.

Most Dingles are still amazed by electrickery.

Don't expect them to get over this one any time soon.
