We need a 6 ft 6i in battering ram up front. Clarke's form was a boost but clearly a flash in the pan in the context of his career. A real physical handful type centre-forward would make a difference.

My opinions always been we could do with a striker. The ones we have are good in the sense of they all offer something different but all are in the category of average at this level Imo. I'd really push the boat out in the summer.
until then Brooks coming back will be huge.
