I wonder what the piggies are going to do to respond
More teenagers will be able to watch Sheffield United matches this coming season at concessionary prices.
United are increasing the age for concession ticket prices for 16 and 17 year olds, who will now be eligible for a reduction of at least £8 a match ticket by qualifying for the concession prices instead of having to pay the full adult price.
United have increased the number of B category fixtures compared with last season and reduced the price of these games, while maintaining the popular £10 and £5 category C priced matches for a minimum of four games.
And any supporter who registers as a Junior Blade (U13s and below) will qualify for matchday tickets priced at £5, or Teen Blade (U16s) priced at £6, membership costs £10.
Simon Argall, operations director at Sheffield United, said: "We are keen to offer affiordable football to as many people as possible and, by increasing the scope of the concessionary prices to under18s, plus the reduction in B fixture match prices for all, we can help achieve this.
"All the reductions will support larger family groups coming to matches and boost the number of teenagers at matches during the season."
