SHEFFIELD United are understood to be set to make a move to sign Blackburn Rovers’ reserve goalkeeper Mark Bunn after he impressed on loan last season.

Their number one Paddy Kenny has completed a switch to QPR leaving the Blades looking for a replacement, although no official contact has yet been made.

With Paul Robinson, Jason Brown and Frank Fielding also on Rovers’ goalkeeping books, the departure of one of their stoppers looks inevitable this summer

... although no official contact has yet been made.

Another 2+2 article I think. If he was coming to be number 2 I wouldn't mind - but he either isn't ready or isn't going to be good enough to be no.1 . I still have nightmares about is amazing holographic hands for long range shots.

Sticky Bunn would be a backwards step. He is not as good as Paddy and hence we should be looking for someone else. I'm pretty confident this is garbage though.

I hope not. Not good enough. I think Simonsen is better than Kenny - Bunn isn't as good as either.

I have nothing against Bunnie but I think this would be a backwards step. He played a few good games for us and his technical attributes are ok, but he hasnt got the personality and presence to be a no.1 in my opinion.

Being the main man between the sticks is about more than just being able to stop shots these days. You have to be commanding and inspire confidence. Simonsen would be a far better alternative but I fear United might go cheap and sign Bunn.

No thanks. Although he got better, he was basically Shite. No disrespect to the lad though

McCabe Antoinette "Let them eat Bunn". That's what I'm expecting too. I fear that the way things are dragging on, Simonsen will get a better offer.
