It seems to be that the milkman deserves the abuse more if he gets the order wrong as he is not doing what I specifically paid his employer for.

But maybe his employer got your order wrong and therefore the milkman was only carrying out his employers instructions.
So therefore he didnt deserve any abuse. Not that you should abuse people for making honest mistakes

I used to own a milk round if you had abused me in that way you would have been nursing a very fat lip
Its no fun getting up at 4am 6 days a week it occasionally messes with your head
