Well Hecky has spoken when asked on Sky sports.
We are going with what we have got.
May I suggest you all go to work or visit a Owl sanctuary or a Spice museum and if any maintenance needs doing on this site Monday might be a good day to do it. UTB.

If you want any recommendations, Alan Biggs knows a cracking owl sanctuary.

Ridiculous. We need a CB, unless Davies is due back. And we now need to recall Jebbo.

Not the end of the world. Another defender would have been good to have but at the end of the day we still have Davies (if all is right in his personal life), Baldock, Stevens, RND (if Osborn covers Left wing back) and Gordon, to cover if necessary. Not ideal, but we can get through it.

Anyone doubting the owners commitment need only listen to heckys comment re incoming players - ie - none

Then listen to the panel on sky who didn’t believe heckys comments - well would anyone ?

Utd in prem for 2 years
2 years worth of parachute payments
Team on the up and with most games to play
Key players getting injured
Real chance to gate crash top 6

Surely - anyone with any level of commitment to us would add that little bit extra to push us over the line ?

Not our owners

Yet some people defend them

They want out - i want them out

They will drive us into the ground by recycling us until we are dust

Exactly this.
The future is very bleak barring some miracle at a play off…whic with current squad and injuries is very unlikely. Other teams just have more.

As for the owner, quite how we can be so in the mire with money despite the player purchases (do t forget we sold Rammers for a big profit) with 2 prem seasons and parachute money doesn’t add up give the wage bill was reduced in relegation after wasn’t that high to start with.
He’s lost interest, the board also lacks leadership, and quite frankly we will be in a huge mess at the end of the season with so many out of contract as well.
I dread to think the level of player we will be getting to replace what we’ve had for the last 5 seasons.

He said on RS he is aiming to bring players in. 🤷‍♂️

One of the strongest....most expensively assembled and highest paid squads in the league.
It's quite incredible really.....5 years ago....we could only dream about this scenario.

The irony is we were over ambitious whilst in the PL.....fans thought all this spending chasing the hottest young talent in England was great at the time
without thinking that there's a price to pay....when agreeing high costs.....some day it all needs paying back.

Not long now.

Suggest we wait until the window has closed before we all wet the bed.

If we don't get a back up for Egan and Bash and one gets injured, don't you worry I'll be the first on ebay ordering the incontinence sheets!
Not a case of wetting beds

We have a good squad but may need incomings to help us over the line which is a long shot anyway

The prize is great

You’d think we would give it a push

Fantastic fan base
Highest gates in league
Still clinging on to a crest of a wave before it dies

We may make it - but with help our chances would be greater

Bell by name, bell by nature judging by that post.

Are you personally planning to bid for the club? Perhaps you'd prefer Uncle Kev to return (just forget about the part he planned to sell the club to a VC organisation that would have laden the club with an 8 figure debt). Or maybe you'd plump for one of the billionaires queuing up to buy the club who would be happy to chuck hundreds of millions at it?

Everybody would like the team/squad to be strengthened but with Berge unable to even get in Utd's team and the club unable to shift him or realise a decent price for any of the other assets, you just expect the budget to be increased? What happens if the investment/gamble doesn't work? Firesale, lower budget next season? It soon turns into a slippery slops.....

If additions arrive before cob Mon then great, if not, it will be because the club is not in a position to. Simple.

So its a long shot getting over the line? but having moved Burke, Verrips,Slater and hopefully Mousse on, but still have Berge and McB warming the subs bench and only get games due to injuries, you think we should take a gamble on said long shot, just how much cash turns that long shot into a short shot?

Wouldn’t resort to personal insults

I have put my case forward

We have gone from a PL income of £170 million (or maybe a bit less last season to £45 million parachute payments this season. We will have lost income from sponsorships etc that were paid in the PL. We have a bloated LOP SIDED squad (certainly by Championship standards) who were on PL wages and even with a relegation clause will be on much higher wages than other championship players. A lot of our players are or have been injured or just not good enough (Moose, McB, Burke, Brewster (though he may come good), JOC, Osborne, Robinson, Freeman, Stevens and Berge has only just come back). We are/have been paying wages and loan fees for Olsen, Davies, Hourrihan and MGW. We are presumably still paying instalments on transfer fees. All in all we must be haemorrhaging cash. Next season we will have reduced parachute payments but still a big wage bill. The Prince has no money and no other investors. That’s why we are not bringing any more players in. We will also need to trim the squad further to reduce the wage bill I guess. We will need to sell more players before we can bring anyone else in.

Our biggest player investments (McBurnie, Berge, Mousset etc) are practically worthless now due to not being in the first team, being poor when they are, and their contracts running down.

We've wasted a colossal amount of money, by our standards at least.

We've gone from that extreme to seemingly a position where any real strengthening of the team just isn't going to happen.

Promotion this season is unlikely but going forward without investment will make it less likely every season that goes by.

I've said it before but the management of the club (and whole business operation) since we were promoted has been catastrophic.

Agree

But there are people who will clap us onto the rocks 🪨

Mate

You’re an idiot

I’ve heard absolutely nothing from you to address a war forward

Nothing

You must have a brain and solution somewhere other than laughing at people

And I mean a solution / idea / for gods sake anything

We’re waiting

And your solution? spend more money we don't have, on who? how much? and realistically how much money significantly shortens the odds of winning the play offs? 5million, 10, or 20 ?

I’m not asking about my solution

What’s yours

Come on
