Seem to recall Besic saying that he'd had discussions with the club about what he wanted - presumably wages to move permanently - and then he hardly played again!?

I'd take him back though is we can get a good deal. He'd have played a lot more this season had he signed on loan this summer.
 
Didn’t think he did bad last year but he literally didn’t finish his loan with us.

Sent packing back to Everton - can’t see why people think wilder would be rushing back to sign him after that?
 
i liked him the only issue with him is that hes a red card waiting to happen if he could just control that side of his game he would be the ideal holding midfielder for us next season in front of a back 4 hopefully 🤔

I'd argue lundstrum is just as aggressive diving in all the time. At brighton he eventually got caught
 
If I remember rightly didnt someone say that \\he shared a flight with the squad and MO didnt seem to mix with the rest of the squad at all and was with another bloke who may have been his agent. It was around the time that we sent him back to Everton. If anything I doubt he would sigh back with us due to lack of football the firest time around. He seems like a very determined character & would stand for any shit off anyone including CW.

A lot of times in the championship you need to win ugly.....he would be an asset

Doesnt surpise me. Most of them have their own cliques eve billy sharp as saw on the sufc channel on youtube wasnt very welcoming when brewster arrived
 
He hasn't played football this season. I suspect there may be off-field issues which make him an unlikely signing. It's not like other teams have been desperate to sign him.
 
I hope to god we are looking at better than Mo. Yes, he's better than the dross that we are putting out there right now, but we need to be looking at better. Here's another player that the fans of Everton and the fans of Bosnia say is crap.....

Regardless if we stay up, or more likely go down, we need to continue the youth movement. Bring in young midfielders that we can develop into something special. If we can bring in two or three midfielders and give them some PL experience, then follow that up with a year in the Championship to polish their games...we could have something special moving forward.
 
Sharp, is apparently very much my bat my ball.
Difficult for him though when Brewster was being brought in to replace him.
Definitely “offside” though if he not welcoming him into the camp and making him welcome, one for all and all for one !!

It was last February. Thinking back, the lads went to Dubai for a bit of R&R and warm weather training and Mo went to Mecca before joining up with them for the last few days.

This was brief footage. For all we know Billy and Brewster had a twenty minute discussion already that day.
 
After watching that tripe on Saturday night and the way in which our midfield (except Berge) capitulated yet again, we're screaming out for someone to get hold of the game in the centre of the park, who can play a bit and be a nasty bastard too.

Besic impressed me when he was with us the season before last and would be a good replacement for Fleck who, it saddens me to say, is a shadow of the player he was. I read somewhere that Everton had released him?
 
Not sure where he's gone, if anywhere, but I was a fan of Mo too

His Everton contract expired on June 30th, and he's still a free agent. Reading were linked with a move for him but nothing has materialised so far.

A side note - you remember when we played Man City at home, Henderson saved a penalty before Aguero nicked it? Besic came on late in that game and hasn't played for anyone since. 18 months since he was on a pitch, not even for Everton's Under 23s.

EDIT - I'd also suggest that Serbian managers don't sign Bosnian players too often!

He started that match didn't he? seem to remember him going straight through Laporte in the first couple of minutes after Laporte been out injured for months

For someone that struggled to get a game before having their loan cut short, not playing a league game since and not being able to find another club since leaving Everton, I'm always surprised by how how a regard he is held by some supporters.

For the very little it's worth, I thought he was ok and probably deserved more chances than he got. However, I also see him as a walking red card and/or injury. Viera (if he eventually joins) should be a massive upgrade on him.

Probably cos the alternative to him was John lundstram to be fair…
 
I wouldn't be averse to bringing him in be cover for viera (if he signs 🙄) and needed if you get a game where the game needs shutting down ,mind you them 2 and give berge a free role
