Think it depends how many years you spent in the PL. I read it was about 55m then 40m then zero. If we’d spent 2 years there then there would have been a third year’s payment and that would have been lesser and probably similar to the one you quoted.

I have read the calculation and am not much wiser, but it’s definitely more than £20m, so still a gap to fill.
It is based on percentages of PL income rather than fixed amounts per year.

Honestly what happened to this guy - wasn't that bad a player, got a bad injury I think, came back and got injured again and then once we released him he's seemingly vanished off the face of the earth
