I never thought I could think any less of the parasitic artifice that is MK Dons. But tonight they made that possible.

As cynical and unpleasant as any away performance I've seen in many a long year. They made Uruguay look like an under-12 Church team.

What a depressing night.

I've never understood someone who posts on a rival club's forum wanking himself to a standstill. You must be a really sad creature.
 
Horrible, cynical, dirty, shouldn't even exist. The most cynical side I've seen at the lane in years. Horrible set of cunts led by the biggest. Ref allowed it to happen all night and was made a total mug of.

Annoyed at United for falling for it, showing a total lack of professionalism, and lack of any attacking verve yet again. Horrid experience down the Lane tonight.

I've heard northern people were friendly so I came on here 3 years ago and I don't take the piss otherwise I wouldn't have more likes than posts, it is possible to speak to other people from opposing teams nothing weird about that.

Plastic, manufactured, soulless, with the support base of a village club inside an inflated Mecano stadium on a trading estate in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't possible to think any lower of them.....................

Time wasting at every given opportunity.

Yet, they still beat us - we have no one to blame but ourselves - if we had any quality then we would have beaten them - if we showed more desire we would have over come them - no matter how much gamesmanship they demonstrated - if we had been good enough we would have prevailed.

Perhaps making a cogent argument for the validity of the very existence of your club would be less "weird" than posting an hilarious picture in response to my post.

As I said, well done, your team won. But their method tonight was genuinely repulsive.

All true. But my point was that MK's cynicism was genuinely exceptional tonight.

Udinese's comedy visit in early 90s is the closest previous example I can remember. :)

We've all spent many years and countless thousands of pounds watching us lose games. This the most prolonged run of consecutive lower-league seasons in our entire history for heaven's sake.

But losing at home to a club whose very existence I find revolting, and who played in the manner they did tonight…. That's something special.

Most disgusting performance I've ever seen from any team against us. The fact a good portion of The Kop stayed behind to boo them off says it all. Horrible, horrible display from MK tonight.

I don't think it's that obvious, Bladesway. I think a few of us have moaned a plenty, without once questioning the opposition. In fact, I can't think of another occassion this season?

MK deserve all the criticism levelled at them. If you want to discuss our shotcomings, there's the odd thread on here.......:)

Threads like this are embarrassing. Comes across very bitter and gives a bad impression of the the supporters. Tonight was disappointing but ffs let's take it on the chin and move on.
 
Despite tonight's loss, which is a big set back in our chase for a top two spot I firmly believe we will always do better than MKD in the long run.

It is only a matter of time before they, like us, have to sell their best players when bigger clubs come knocking. Robinson will be off soon to as he seeks to fulfil his ambitions as a manager. He knows he will achieve nothing with plastic MKD.

I think discussing the opposition, for better and for worse, it part and parcel of a discusssion board.

If we did it every week, it would be hollow. If we save it for the shittiest of shit heads, it has some relevance :)

Performances like MK's are embarrassing. We're perfectly capable of accepting defeat, but if we just accept what MK and the officials brought to the Lane tonight then we may as well all pack it in and declare the sport finished.

Completely agree. That performance from MK tonight was absolutely fucking disgusting.
 
To be honest I am surprised focus is so much on MK Dons. Were they cynical? Yes. Could they have had a few more off. Yes. The ref was poor, the assistants were poor. they realised and took advantage. Any blame should be more at officials.

We STILL should be good enough to beat sides like that. We weren't.

I have seen United be cynical and timewaste away to take 3 points. All teams do it. MK took it a long way tonight but the officials let them. We have taken advantage of poor refs (how many teams have had players sent off against us this year and not all deserved). Discussing MK and the officials does deflect from another performance where we barely had a decent shot on goal and struggle to brea down this same cynical rubbish everyone is discussing. By tomorrow and in a few weeks no one will remember how they won or what they did. Nor will it even register to anyone else in the division; they will just see they won and we lost.

Sick and tired of excuses for poor performances if I am honest.
