United coming away with 3 points, despite Ballon d'Or winner 2018 Ryan Leonard playing, eh.

Come on you beautiful bastard Blades.

Let's do it the easy way next time please. My heart can't take it.

Not just 3 points but another massive psychological boost to the players.

Again we’re in total control cruising to a relatively easy win.....
...then we throw all the good work away in 5 minutes.......
......however this team doesn’t panic, they keep playing their game confident it will work out.

2 late winners in 2 weeks, both well deserved from 2 good performances will give us great mental strength and belief.

What' a display, thought it was gonna be a draw when they disallowed Sharps goal but what a move for the winner

What is it with us starting the second half like lame donkeys!!???
We managed to set off like a rocket first half, and then seem to forget how to do it second!???
Still, our quality and strength shines through luckily.

Just in Newcastle visiting the in laws!!. Walked out of the room at 1-2 as I was fearing the worst and my Sunderland supporting niece was taking the piss!!!. She then exclaimed WTF!!. I walked back in and mcGoldrick had just popped in his 2nd of the game on final score on bbc1.
It’s gonna be a cracking night now. UTB

Great to see that the Blades didn’t panic and footballed their way to a win.
Really impressive performances by McGoldrick, Sharp and Duffy.
Any other result would have been a travesty.
Millwall are an awkward set of cloggers but just might end up in the bottom three come end of season.

A game and result that had it all.

-Dominate the game
-Miss a penalty
-Take the lead
-Concede an equalizer against the run of play
-Go behind
-Equalise through a second penalty
-Score a late winner.

Talk about stressful but also a massive boost in confidence from that today. The doubters were out at 2-1, and it was partly deserved but my god the lads showed us all what they are about in the end.

Onwards and upwards, we are right in the mix for promotion this season, don't doubt it.

To be fair, I thought we were fantastic for the first 10 minutes of the second half against Preston, genuinely some of the best football we've played this season, got the second goal, McGoldrick had that good chance narrowly past the post, then we just sat back... But when it mattered most, we started playing again, and looks like the same happened today - brilliant result!

Typical Blades put you full the full range of emotions ;) some things never change

Bring on the Porkers...….

McGoldrick's gangsta pose loses a bit with Sharp on his back!

Who missed the penalty?

Out of the country and been following via the BBC website. Let's call it a comeback.

Only 2 bogey grounds for us in this league Millwall and Middlesbrough and we've finally won a game at one of them

Everybody's happy about the win, but my God, why can't this club ever do anything in a nice, simple, relaxed manner ?
It's also becoming obvious that ANY team, ANY team at all that has a few minutes good spell against us is going to score goals

Some teams even with only a 1-0 or 2-0 lead can shut the shop up and comfortably see out the game giving their fans ample time to shout and cheer and generally have some fun, but not us. If we sit back or relax or try to keep it tight we concede, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

The only way we can win comfortably is to put the hammer down and don't stop until the fight has been taken out of the opponents.
At 4-0 with ten minutes to go we might get away with relaxing for 10 minutes and win 4-2, but if we relax or get sloppy at any other time during a game we'll have problems

The absolute state of some of the comments during the game in this thread. I thought I’d seen it all with the soiled underwear comments of some pre-game over the fact Ryan Leonard was playing.

Fantastic three points again, great resilience from the team, and while we still need to improve we continue to impress.

We were 4/5 to win today. I asked Skybet for a double with that and you moaning even if we win.

They wouldn't take the bet.

Not really. Look at the league table, West Brom, Brizzle, Derby, Brentford, Norwich, Wigan have all conceded a similar amount of goals to us. It's just a very competitive league where most teams have enough quality to score and turn a game.

You might be better going to watch Boro, they don't concede many goals. Good luck staying awake though.
