We've been shite post Coutts. Listen, I'm not taking any pleasure in this, we need to grind out a few points up till January then we need to spend big on a replacement for Coutts or this season's going nowhere.

I think if you look at the stats, we had more shots and more possession v Fulham. They didn't THRASH us at all, just managed the game far better and blitzed us on the counter constantly.

Sadly it seems our fears that losing Coutts going to have a huge negative effect on the team is true. I thought we'd do much better than we are currently without him, but alas no. Mid table beckons at this rate, and its so disappointing, because we've all got our hopes up for the top 6.

Fuck the stats, look at today's, we outpossessed them 63/37% and lost to a shit team, as were Brum. Fulham were average and they overran us. We miss Coutts terribly, you can't deny that.

We didn’t look comfortable for a lot of the game. Very poor handling of the long ball game.
Missed a lot of defensive headers and when we won them they were picked up by Millwall.
We were on top for spells but didn’t make the most of it.
Millwall deserved to win. Worked hard and put us under pressure in a cloggy awkward way that we couldn’t handle.
They also defended well and kept Leon very quiet.
Not sure about the ref. Let go a couple of nasty challenges that deserved cards. And 3 mins added time? Fk me it took them three mins to make each substitution.

That's only been the issue in the past 2 games in fairness. Our final ball has been awful in the last two games. Stevens has got into some great positions lately but his delivery has been really poor.

All that tip tap passing on the edge of the box, working it this way then that way then the other way, then back again the other way, then back and start again. Look, it’s great when we eventually find the final killer pass, but FFS, BREAK QUICKER Blades! Never mind trying to create the perfect goal! Run at the buggers, take em on, get in their bleeding box never mind all this bloody chess-ball on the edge of it!

One of my mates is a Wednesday fan (I know) and he said when he has seen us this season the only thing he thinks we are missing is a goalscoring midfielder. I think he has a point. We don't have that player who arrives late in the box and our midfielders have never got double figures in their career so it does put big pressure on the strikers

I think the next month up until the transfer window is gonna determine the path of the rest of the season , we all know were missing the main string puller in the middle but again with the absence of Baldock stuck out like a sore thumb and we could do with Basham back in the centre again as were shipping goals now.

We really need a result on Friday night to exhorcise the Coutts injury & reinstall the confidence
