Hmmmmm
From single malt added recollection didn't we recently have a 'debate' about the inherent iniquity of the loyalty point system - mid to late September I believe ?
Where's the clamour now we've not won in 2 & with the opportunity to 'ave it large' in that there London ('just afore Christmas)
Surely no plastic glory hunting shit wasps on this forum ?!?
Or should we wait until 12/01/18 to reach any conclusive opinion ?

We have a superb hard core support who follow through thick and thin regardless but that's not unique; unfortunately like other clubs, many of our fans have a fickle outlook and two games without a win will have contributed to the turnout to Millwall this coming Saturday. Had we won on Saturday, we would probably have sold out. Not necessarily a criticism but an observation. I'd be interested in seeing average away support as a proportion of say season ticket holders and the impact of results, league position, etc. Personally, I'm really disappointed that we're 3rd in the league and not selling out Saturday, when being top of the league we sold out for qpr even though midweek. As I say not a criticism and similar to what Holloway said last night about the qpr fans that stayed, credit to the United fans outside London making the effort to come.

The next four away games in order of which I would prefer to attend and my chances of getting tickets are;......
Villa = No chance.
Derby = No chance.
Preston = Possible, but won't be sat with mates.
Millwall = Here I come.

Always a frisson of fear when you say those words. New Den isn't like the Old Den but still it isn't exactly pleasant either. Was at the Old Den once. I think Steve Neville made his debut for us and scored a hatrick. We won 4-1 and pretty sure we were 3 up at half time. It was rough.

But lately away tickets haven't been making general sale. They've usually sold out beforehand. QPR for instance sold out before general sale until they released an extra batch but we still have Millwall tickets available. They went on general sale today. I wonder is it because it's Millwall?

Should have made it our flag day, we’d have sold out by now.
I’m going anyway, it’s the only chance of a London weekend this season. Bring it on.

(Think) were on same song sheet ?
Interested to hear if any / all of those squealing about not getting to the sty are going sarf on Satdi ?
Not sure comparison with QPR is valid - we sold out 1700 there & have taken another 500 (taking total available to around 2200) for M/wall

Reckon you'll get Villa no bother given date / time / TV

Also (& not a dig @ you) there are always (albeit less appealing) alternatives in other parts of the ground ?
In > 40 years I've yet to miss a match I needed to be at ( even if I didn't really WANT to be there)

Answering numerous posts giving reasons why Millwall hasn't sold out

Of 10 away matches so far and including Millwall thus far, 4 haven't sold out, 3 have gone well into general sale and of the other 3, Pigs and Burton sold out at 4th level and Forest at 6th level. We aren't exactly selling out all our away allocation by a long stretch
Get yer facts right. The Pig game was sold out at level 2, Burton gave us additional tickets as the original allocation had sold out. Millwall, we sold out the initial allocation and they have sent us an extra5 00+. Just been down for my ticket.

so the pig game sold out at level 2 did it:rolleyes:
they first went on sale at 50,000+ loyal points they might have gone down at early stages at 5,000 intervals but when i was waiting they were going down at 2,500 intervals
i got mine at 42,500:) and they were still on sale at 37,500 so where do you get level 2 sold out from i don't know
or are you just an angry person;)

Hopefully. Had forgotten Villa game was on TV, might give me a chance.
Did home ends at Scunny and Oldham last year, got sussed at both and although no trouble can't say I really enjoyed it.
Anyway looking forward to Millwall, still a few days to sell remaining tickets and anything over 2000 would be a good effort IMO.

More likely be down to the time of year, plus we've also got Preston, Villa and Derby all on the horizon. I'd love to go to Millwall, not been since 1994 but due to cost will only being 2 out of 4, probably Villa and Derby.

Not anymore mate. It’s rather pleasant. Used to live in Surrey Quays and it’s all rather pleasant there.

Yeh I’ve been to Surrey Keys a few years ago BBTT .. but have they nuked Deptford & it’s inhabitants ? , I was working near some three story flats at the side of the beautifully named Daubeney Tower block there when I heard an argument behind me on them , looked up and two lads having a little disagreement,
I carried on working then I heard a large thud behind me & one of them is now on the deck at ground level in agony , he gets up and is dragging his mangled leg in a rush to depart the scene . I looked up and the other lad had a knife longer than Crocodile Dundee’s , obviously the lad opted for the third floor parachutless jump rather than become the meat on his kebab knife .
Spoke to some local lads on the tools down there & they said it was a 3 man area for safety reasons ..hmm I wonder why ?
Also Ferrier Estate at Kidbrooke was a right shit hole in same corner of SE London

Pig tickets sold out on the Wednesday which was surely the 3rd day? I got one of the last ones.

F**k points. Can't keep up with them or understand them. Obviously P A has a little log book and account folder to work them out. upload_2017-11-29_9-20-36.pngupload_2017-11-29_9-20-36.png upload_2017-11-29_9-21-17.pngupload_2017-11-29_9-20-36.png upload_2017-11-29_9-21-17.png upload_2017-11-29_9-20-36.png upload_2017-11-29_9-21-17.png

Every time I've been to a football match in London it's been shithouse.

Leyton Orient away FA Cup 3rd round, called off an hour before kick off...

Palace away last game of the season under Blackwell. 0-0.

Wembley matches...

Shit. House.

If you're travelling by coach, Millwall is actually a very enjoyable and comfortable away day.

Stop off in Greenwich for refreshments, get taken straight to the away end with no contact with the rogue elements, bit of verbal back and forth in the ground with the natives and hop straight on the bus when you come out.
Personally I can't bloody wait until Saturday.

If they've been slow to sell then I imagine that London prices and the fixture being close to Xmas are a factor.
Tempted by this. Never been and don't normally have the points for "aways". Would you regard it safe with 2 kids on official travel?

Absolutely. I travel with the Handsworth supporters club myself but it's all the same routine. Millwall do a good job of ensuring away fans and the more unsavoury elements are kept well apart, and the coaches park up bang outside the away end.
Honestly, you'll be fine with young 'uns in tow.

Just looked, travel sold out, should have looked earlier. Thanks for your reply though.

I mananged to get 4 today at 1pm all sat together. Was quite surprised

We don't have allocated seats in the stands behind the goals. You buy a block tock and you can sit anywhere you like in that block. This allows people to sit with mates etc.

Every Blade will be able to sit with whoever they want to in a block. And even then, we are not that strict about the block. The club had to agree to hold back 500 seats in each stand to allow this - so as to stop any overcrowding issues.
