No chance. Trusty would have to be around the £5 million mark which we paid so your valuing Johnston at £2 million? He just scored 7 in 20 for West Brom from left wing, no way are we getting him for 2 million.Trusty has a higher market value so surely wouldn’t straight swap. We’d probably shake hands on £3M plus Johnstone for Trusty

and hes only had minor success at a lower level with northampton with the 4231 hes currently adoptingAnd Wilder's got no record of success with a team of that sort of composition
When have we ever carried multiple luxury players who'll contribute little defensively? In Wilder's best teams even all the attacking players worked hard and made us a solid unit
could be a straight swapHe's under contract till 2026. I'd guess they'll value him around £4/5m? We drive a hard bargain though.
Messi: shite.Another little Un, only 5’-9”
We're Bolton Were barmy, who are you calling tattooHow far away is he??
Ya long streak of piss!!We're Bolton Were barmy, who are you calling tattoo![]()
Contract expires 2025He's under contract till 2026. I'd guess they'll value him around £4/5m? We drive a hard bargain though.
Those 60 appearances are spread over 7 seasons- 2 of which were severely disrupted by significant injuryCeltic and Rangers are different gravy to the rest of the league though. He's played 60 times for Celtic so it's not like he's never played for them.
As a realistic signing I doubt there's many better we could get in for his position. Fits well in the new formation.
This debate keeps returning.Messi: shite.
But with Hamer/OHare/Sakyi plus whoever else we may sign, we have 3 high calibre attacking mids who must be accommodated, along with a striker. That makes us quite top heavy, especially as none of them offer much defensively. I don't think this gives Wilder the best chance of making it workNot sure we have too many attackers?
RAM - Brooks/Rak-Sakyi
CAM - O'Hare
LAM - Hamer/Johnston(?)
Then we have Campbell and Brewster who can cover the above positions, but will also be covering as ST. Plus the young lads Marsh and Hampson, one of whom could be loaned out.
That seems like good depth for a long season, but if you combine this with available STs, you could even say we are a bit short in attack.
Says 2026 on here though? I read it elsewhere that's he's under contract to 2026 too.Contract expires 2025
Daily Record suggesting they would see Celtic RECEIVING a seven figure sum.Celtic don’t want him, can’t believe people are entertaining a straight swap. I think he’s probably worth 2/3M and Trusty about what we paid for him tbh after a seasons experience in the prem. He’d take the piss in the SPL
Not if Trusty’s not part of the deal. Is the article suggesting a purchase, not a swap?Daily Record suggesting they would see Celtic RECEIVING a seven figure sum.
They’re on the wacky backy aren’t they?
Also quotes Trusty as having cost 5m.
How is Johnston worth 6m at least?
If we were sending Trusty and cash I’d be wanting Callum McGregor coming in, not Mikey Johnston.
Yes. They have a home made leg stretching machine at Shirecliffe. Can we train him to be taller.
so would B56Trusty would look like prime Maldini in the SPL....
Trusty would look like prime Maldini in the SPL....
Now that I would love. He’d be our captain & organiser & dominate midfields in the Championship. If we were sending Trusty and cash I’d be wanting Callum McGregor coming in, not Mikey Johnston.
