I didn't argue that the Fleck sending off wasn't correct under the current interpretation.I don't see that it changes that Fleck was correctly sent off. In today's game it was a red, straight up. I think also in the Kane incident, the ref had had his back to it as the ball had gone about half an hour ago, I don't think he got a clear view of the tackle.
If the ref didn't see the Kane incident then why hasn't Kane been given a 3 match ban retrospectively through the review panel? Thought it was for incidents of that nature.
My argument was around the evident inconsistency in the application of the law.
