Win ,but its going to be tight , tense , Jesus its impossible to enjoy these games imo.
 
If they play like they did against Charlton they'll get tonked again. Wednesday are on a roll with players who can seemingly find the net. Forecast: Blades to turn the season back around with a 4-0- win.
 
With our slump in form and not being able to hit a cows arse with a banjo, coinciding with the piggy scum hitting top gear- hmmmmm....
Our defenders and Simmo can't put a foot wrong or a big loss at home.

I don't think predicting something and hoping for it necessarily mean the same thing!
 
Even a 1-0 loss to the swine would be humiliating. We should not be losing to that lot whatever the score.

As Tarquin says, any kind of defeat will be a humiliation. FFS, those retards are still oinking on - 32 years later - about the Boxing Day 'Massacre' (now, 4-0 is not a massacre). Blackwell will forever go down in the annals of shame for letting the pigs and that prancing cunt Laws win at BDTBL. Danny, don't join the Hall of Shame.

well, for starters, there's no option of "get beat but not humiliation"

Second, I think the Pigs are going to humiliate us.

They are playing well, we are not.
They have good forwards (and competition for places), we don't.
Their goalie got injured. They went out and got another good one in two days. Ours has been poor to awful for a year and nothing has been done.
They attack teams away from home. All the teams that have attacked us at the Lane have beaten us, save for Walsall who stupidly sat back against us after getting the lead
We are slow, they are not.


All that points to, at the very least, a 2-0 victory, and that's a humilitation.

Do I hope this happens? Of course not. I want us to destroy them. But the head says that's a pipe dream.

We're about 3 weeks away from "Wilson out!". Book it.
 
I have not voted, because there is no option for me. I think we will lose, but it is a tight game. To be honest, it is too close to call and I could see it going either way. Wilson will not want us to lose this and I expect him to show this tactically. I expect a tight, nervous, scrappy game that will be won by a solitary goal. I have a bad feeling about this game, BUT Wednesday are not that good. Yes, they have been playing well, but a few weeks ago they got smashed 6-0 at Stevenage. Wednesday are vulnerable, as are we. This is not the best time to be playing them, as they seem to have hit form (though we must remember it is their home form that is spectacular) and we are stuttering. However if the players can't get up for this, then we deserve to lose. United are at home and this is a big advantage (though that could quickly disappear if we go behind).
 



Whether or not it's my self defensive pessimism, I don't rightly know but I genuinely fear humiliation this time around. You can argue over the definition as much as you like but a home defeat to those swinish bastards can rarely be seen in a positive light.

As with Rev above, my fear lies as ever with the fact that we have the most pedestrian side that I can remember. Painfully slow. A Dixie Dean/Alan Shearer type up top could compensate for this but our forward line is shit. And our set pieces the same. No amount of Bladeness is going to change those simple facts.

The crowd 100% behind them, the whole side playing out of their skins and who knows? Can't see it though.

I am with you on this one, the option "lose" wasn't there so i haven't placed a vote. I can see it finishing 2-1 to the swine with it being a game of 2 halves. I will however change my opinion if we bring in some kind of superstar this week which i can't see happening because there isn't many about for a couple of hundred quid a week.
