They are still a lot better than what I saw Saturday.

We will find it hard to score as Wilder won't pick some of the players who would help with that, and the defence isn't good enough.

Boro were awful too on Saturday. Much more pressure on them than us tonight. If we score first then I 'm sure we'll win.

Just to say, as the end of last season keeps being brought up, we had strong midtable form, not relegation form.

We'd have got 59 points if we'd gone the whole season as we finished.

Swansea on Saturday were a lot better than Middlesbrough were in either of the two games against us last season.

The season doesn't run from November to May. We finished top 10 over the course of a full season, which obviously makes you 'demonstrably poor', unless you are the Galacticos of Middlesbrough or play at Fortress Riverside, and then you are 'quite good'.

Don't get me wrong, we may well lose tonight, but if we're going to be fucking terrified of a team like Middlesbrough we may as well pack it in now

But our poor form happened AFTER our excellent start to the season and has continued into this season. We haven't played well for a very long time. That's what is so worrying.

I'm not terrified of Middlesbrough, I'm terrified of us putting in another car crash performance.

Well we played well against Reading, Villa and Cardiff and for 45 minutes at Bristol.

We can still do it since Coutts was injured but not very often.

This might be a stupid question but why are we playing tonight?

Boro were supposed to play someone on the Saturday after they played us on the Tuesday, but the Saturday game got moved to Friday for Sky and Boro didnt want to play us on the Tuesday three days before the Friday, so our Tuesday game was brought foward to this Tuesday.

Simple really.

Which is ridiculous really as it's the same length of rest time. And we're trying to get bodies in, and Boro are potentially losing some. :(

After Saturday I fear this game has come too early for us.

Anything could happen tonight. We were both poor at the weekend. I'd happily take a draw.

Glad we are playing so soon. After over reaction of saturday, where we didnt play well. at half time dont mind admitting i was quite underwhelmed but not disaster made out when we were playing a team in PL for last 6 yrs 3 mth ago . But id be lying if i was worrying about saturday being 6th time in last 9 league games whether we have taken the lead & lost. We have to get better at game management instead of chucking points away

I think it was just competive rust & that hopefully we will be alot quicker in attack not letting opposition get 8 behind the ball. & better in possession

Wilder will have given them a kick up the arse. With the loan window opening soon and two days of transfer window left, let’s hope some are playing for a place today.

Duffy and Sharp in for me, reckon it’ll be a score draw.

Anyone in Boro at the minute? What pubs are we going in?

Looks like the South Stand is where the disabled are going to be for their kidney punching tonight.

I’m away in Rome at moment can anyone pm me a live stream I can use?

Unchanged starting 11

Unchanged side.....booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I remember last season and maybe the season before, Wilder did this after a defeat. It's either a kick up the backside or we'll all be moaning again tonight.

Bryan on for Stevens after 5 wasted opportunities to pass, probably around the 10 minute mark haha

Can understand playing with this midfield away from home tbf. Is Freeman injured?
