Player Suggestion Michael Brown

Anybody else think we could pick him up on a free in the summer, I think he could come in and replicate the roll mcall did for us in the middle, he's knocking on a bit I know but could still do a decent job in league one...

I know somebody says this every close season, he might be too old, some said that about mcall, and look how that turned out...

I'd like him back, especially if we don't get coady, which is highly likely..

Why would we want Brown back
Hes not the player he was when he was here last time, hes slow, he hasnt got the legs anymore, hes more of a defensive
Doyle type player nowadays. Please, please dont compare him to McCall

I used to miss those summers between 2006 and 2011 where his name where Bring Back Browny was always suggested. I'm not sure any other ex United player has ever been suggested quite as much as him for signing them back, certainly not in the time I've supported us.

Brown is nowhere near the player he was 11 years ago. I certainly wouldn't pick him ahead of Doyle or Scougall.

Was it 23 he scored in one season for us? I bet he hasn't scored that many in total in the last 10 years.

He has scored 8 goals in the 10 years since he left.
