As you say, swap the 3rd line for summat else and then swap the 1st, 2nd & 4th lines for summat else too and you’ve come up with a winner there.
Granted - his name does fit that song title though very nicely though.

Even if he's available for around £25m there's no way we'd get him. A Villa , Brighton, Southampton type club would come in for him and blast us out of the water with wages. Our best bet is for Wolves to still want to keep him but loan him to us for another season.

Agree, I’d expect Wolves to set a price of nearer 30 mil than 20 mil.

Also he’d want £60K a week with clauses in his favour, for example no wage reduction on relegation and possibly we sell him at a reduced value if we get relegated.

MGW was recently interviewed and totally side stepped the question about whether there’s a potential future at SU. I got the impression he wants to break into the Wolves team.

Don’t think we stand much chance of signing him even if we’re promoted. However I do think we have a realistic chance of having him on another season loan as Wolves will want to see how he copes at PL level.

Depends on the thoughts of Prince A, which is very difficult to gauge now he's disappeared into the backwater. If we get promoted he may from past experience just decide to take the money, no major cash injection into the first team squad and be quite content to become a Norwich.

The biggest clubs won't be interested but Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Palace are the type of clubs that would be.

Plan is completely different with a new installment of Prem revenue. Without any doubt.
