How many can you name in the photo below?

View attachment 32644

No one has made an attempt to name the players. Here are the name of players from left to right are
Mike Ferguson (last player to score for Accrington before they resigned from league in 1962), Len Badger, QPR trainer attending Phil Parkes, Dave Clement (committed suicide when he had injury problems at Wimbledon. His son is Swansea manager), Rodney Marsh, Alan Harris, Cec Coldwell, ref John Yates, Bill Dearden, Alan Woodward, Tony Currie, Eddie Colquhoun, Ron Hunt, John Tudor, Gerry Francis and Tony Hazell

Late 90s for me

One game, all the SUISA lot gathered in the Bushranger for pre-match drinks and I think Katchuro was sent off for some pathetic incident (we were in the front seats bhind the LH goal and thats the one where the ball boy got all the 'Frankeh Dettoreh!' shit from the Blades fans) and the 'SANTOS!' one where we were in the upper tier thumping the corrugated walls to amplify the "'SANTOS!' BANG-BANG-BANG".

Crouchy did get loads of shit in that game and its the only game where I have seen him outplayed by a centre back - Shaun Murphy, who had him in his back pocket. The fucking FREEEEEEEEEK!

pommpey

Always been goals except for the 0-0 at theirs in March 09...We haven't won there in the league since 31/8/05...Maybe tonight 31st could be an omen. Always win there in the FAC
Hate going to Loftus Road, pooky little away end, in a dog-rough area

I've been down here 22 years and have been to every game we've played at LR during that time so it's my most visited ground after BL. My best mate down here is a Rangers' fan so we agree to alternate ends season to season. This year we're in the away end thank goodness. Remember some fine nights but there was one Saturday around 2001, when we beat them 3-1 I think. Unfortunately, I was absolutely bladdered because one of the stewards let us take booze in (and in the home end) and started celebrating our goals. Was that the game Santos scored in?

1971, two nil down with two minutes to go, drew two all. That was the day I thought we would get promotion.
Yes! I was there and felt the same. I remember barely able to look when Ted Hemsley took a last minute pen to equalize and then followed up for good measure to smash it in again. There was something about the way we went about that comeback which had "We're having this promotion" written all over it..

Were you there?

That day I was at a reserve match at Bramall Lane with my eye on the pavillion scoreboard throughout the match, our score at Loftus Road was being updated. At half time we were trying to come to terms that we were losing 1-0 but news coming out that Dave Powell had been admitted to hospital after being carried off (sadly he never played for our 1st team again) was another blow. The next time our score on the pavillion scoreboard got updated was that QPR had scored again. At full time of the reserves match the crowd were leaving the ground feeling dejected that we had lost another important match that week (we lost 2-1 to Hull the previous Tursday). Then all of a sudden there were some excitement and shouting outside the ground in John Street and I saw a tall man in the terrace entrance raising double V signs to indicate "2-2". My dad (he was wondering if it was a wind-up) then told me to get back in the ground to look at the pavillion scoreboard again and there it was "2-2"!

Never forgot that and the feeling was almost as good as I felt when Duffy scored at S6!

Woodward and Hemsley (pen) were the scorers in the last two minutes

Yes, I remember Dave Powell (Welsh international at the time) carried off after a two-footed lunge from, I'm pretty sure, Rodney Marsh. He could be a dirty f*cker. Don't think he even got booked.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this one yet but my prevailing memory of QPR was watching us stuffing them 3 - 0 at Bramall Lane in our first home game of the 2008 season. Billy Sharp hat-trick. More of the same tonight plz x
