Often see Current and ex players in morrisons at meadowhead.

Most recently Jake Wright!

Once saw John Fleck at the gym, that's about it though :( Least it was Fleck though!

has anyone ever had a chance encounter with a blades player. Other than at the lane i hasten to add. I was once helping a mate collect betterware catalogues in Dronfield when i was about 11 and knocked at paul Beasleys house. Also stood behind Howard Kendall in a queue at a perrtrol station on my way to school.

Any others?

John Hope sitting fishing off the sea wall at Brid,Mick Speight after beating the filth at the Lane,he was coaching in Norway at the time, lovely fella. The whole Basset team outside a theatre in London but can't remember who we played that particular Saturday. It was evident they had sunk one or two.
Not players but the Gaffer outside Simmonites on Division St not long after League one promotion season. We chatted for a few mins ,and it's not hard to see why we love him so much. Alan Knill leaning against the wall at the train station, ditto as above. Chris Morgan whilst working the corporate boxes at Old Trafford and his old man. Asked him what he thought of Blackwell and he very tactfully said " He's a good lad " not sure I believed him at the time.
Also Gary Cahill at Homebase in Horwich after his loan spell with us. Told him he looked much better in Red n White stripes. Nice fella, stopped to chat.

Often had a drink with Bryan Robson, sorry worded that wrong I often had a drink while watching Robson stumbling about pissed as a cunt 😂😂😂

Brief chat with Devin and David Kelley at the Hilton at my ex sister in ,was wedding. Just to clarify they weren’t at the wedding do, they were stood at the bar in the reception area. I assume they were staying there before travelling back to the midland do the following day. Devein in particular had had a few sherbets but then again so had I.

Can’t remember the year but it was April and we’d just lost at home to Barnsley

Spoke to Kieran Dowell at the bar in cavendish after the promotion parade last season. Offered to buy us a drink and seemed to be a decent lad.

It was the night Liverpool turned it round against Barcelona, unfortunately him and all his family are Evertonians.
