McNulty

Like others I agreed Robbie but CW seems to be giving him a lifeline and I trust his judgement.

Considering some of the people Tufty dealt with at Bradway, NcNulty won't mess him about more than once.

Bradway?

It were all little earings and ponytails from what I recall...bunch of show-ponies...oh yeah, I see...

As for McNuts, judge him on the pitch, if/when he gets on...

Depends which half of Bradway of course.

Well, I'd say getting leathered a few days before the start of the season is not a great attitude? If CW doesn't stand for a bad attitude he's either a hypocrite or incredibly incompetent. Even if her was stone cold sober (hilarity) why is he out to that time? Not professional.

He's not a child. I don't believe players should be getting hammered regularly but telling people when to go to bed is a step too far for me.

i don't think it's a matter of telling anybody anything.......if he was being professional he would'nt stay out late or get leathered anyway, he'd be concentrating on what's best for his career.

Agreed, but telling players not to be out to the early hours of the morning during the season is another thing entirely. Why any footballer would go out and get drunk in the same city as the club they play for is beyond me. So much licence to get in trouble. Especially in a two-club city.

As I've already said, I don't think footballers should be drinking heavily on regular occasions. It's not good for anyone, whatever they do in life, especially athletes.
I'm not that concerned about someone being out late if they've no training the next day and have been told they're not playing at the weekend.

Plenty of players stay up late, usually fucking around playing games on a console. People need different amounts of sleep and some often have a siesta after training.
Personally, not a McNulty fan and it wouldn't bother me if he never played for us again. We've got Sharp and Done in front of him.

But if he scores 30+ for us this season, he can go out, get pissed, get charged with rape and he'll still be a hero to many Blades. At present, he can't even bleach his hair without a five page thread debating just how much of a cunt he is.

Agree. I don't think they should be drinking much anyway but if I were CW I'd tell the players I take a very dim view of players going out in Sheffield during the season. It's just daft.

they'll only go somewhere else though if he says that. Less likely to get recognized though.
