Our striker importance in order... (imo)

Billy
Done
Lavery
Clarke
Mcnuts

Replace Mcnuts with either Ched or Bogle and we would have...

Billy
Bogle/Ched
Done
Lavery

Clarke would sadly be moved on as it seems that Billy and Leon won't or can't play with each other! Billy/Ched/Bogle as a strike force is mouthwatering :p

January sales wish list for me would be
Ched/Bogle
EEL or another
Replacement or backup for Lafferty

I'm sure CW has already targeted players and I would hope we are in advanced talks with a few.

I really can't see anything other than autos this year as long as we do not sell Fleck or Duffy even for stupidly high bids.

UTB

Just for clarity wasn't picking fault - god knows I cock up enough with my fat fingers - just using a good opportunity to shoehorn a McNulty has had too many chances reference in, in a different way.

And it wasn't raining down here 'till you piped up while we're at it :)

Ta x Love you too.

Good finisher, but for me to lazy to put himself about enough, thats why hes out on loan, CW wants players who can play and work. hes out on loan playing for a contract as his is up in the summer I believe? so hes not going to be called back and used in part exchange as read above.

Bogor is a decent player, however as with all players like him who look good in a lower league he would be a risk.

Pros....Good Age, athletic, quick, can score with both feet but looks left footed primarily.

Cons....never played L1 or above, Grimsby will want a good fee.

We have to weigh up if he will be able to maintain the confidence to try those turns inside once he's up against better defenders and keepers who restrict his goal tally. By that, I mean will all those better finishes he does vanish to be replaced with snatched shots when he's not been gifted a few. Also, need to find the dosh to compete with potentially higher placed sides like Forest apparently.
But we may not appreciate how well Wilde and Knill can sell the club. They brought in Fleck for one. We will pay pretty well, can show him first class facilities (which are a million miles better than his current club I can say from knowledge) we are a team on the up.....whereas Forest??

If we want him, and can compete with the fee I think we can have a good chance. But it will be down to Wilder first and foremost.

Yes agree. But what about McNulty?

Sign Omar Bogle and we win the league.

Sadly I think he'll be extremely in demand in January, and probably our of our budget.

Also, I base my opinion on his goal scoring record as I see it on his Wikipedia page, as well as him being a 6 ft 2 black man.

I would think a lot of the League 2 top scorers would be very expensive in January (wasn't t'owd Jon Stead a freebie for Notts County?)

Top Scorers
# Player Team Goals
1 Omar Bogle Grimsby Town 16
2 John Akinde Barnet 15
3 Danny Hylton Luton Town 11
4 John Marquis Doncaster Rovers 10
5 Jonathan Stead Notts County 9
6 Kyle Vassell Blackpool 9
7 Jason Kennedy Carlisle United 9
8 Charlie Wyke Carlisle United 9
9 Graham Carey Plymouth Argyle 9
10 James Collins Crawley Town 9
11 Luke Berry Cambridge United 8
12 Cameron McGeehan Luton Town 8
13 Andy Williams Doncaster Rovers 7
14 Alex Kiwomya Crewe Alexandra 7
15 Nathan Thomas Hartlepool United 7

Just wondering? Any views (apart from Tyler D) as to whether anyone wants him back?

Fuck that!

A very bad egg that we would do well to stay clear of. It won't happen anyway, as Wilder sussed him out very quickly and unloaded him just as fast. Can't see him ever playing for United again.

Soooooooo the same as Clarke then?
Not for me, give lavery more game time.
Clarke has 3, but I`m counting the cups in that!

For me, Sharp & Done link well, & we seem to score goals as a team when Done is in.

Clarke & Lavery have been more effective off the bench, think they will both score goals in the second half of the season.

What another lazy fucker , no way git rid asap.
Does been a lazy fucker have anything to do with McNulty been a better partner to Billy than Clarke will ever be? No.

As a side note, McNulty is a better partner than Clarke for Billy and I also think McNulty is a better finisher than Billy but that doesn't mean i'd bring McNulty back and chuck him straight back into the fold, it doesn't work like that, i'm sure CW will do the right thing for our football club whatever he chooses to do, he's not doing too bad so far.

MM is just one in a very long line of footballers who consider their ride to be something that will never end. When the journey stops they're flummoxed and are clueless to know what they're meant to do next......and in between this 'adventure' guys like MM assume it's ok to fuck about whilst wasting their talent. Quite possibly we'll hear the moan of "It's someone else's fault". Trouble is it's always someone else's fault where highly paid players like MM are concerned. They never buckle down, they never adopt a responsible attitude to becoming a better player, it must be tough in MM's world.......Queen Of The South awaits.

Errrrrm, what's Lavery's record? :D
Record or ammount of game (or even bench) time? because while some people claim Sparky hasn't had enough chances, he's had a few. Clarke seems to be running out of them fast as well.

Why are some people convinced MM is the perfect partner or Sharp? apart from Blackpool last season where they both scored if I remember correctly I dont see what else they have done to show that they work well together. If anything Clarke showed more of an understanding in the fabled 20 mins against Chesterfield than mcnulty has with Sharp in 10+ games they have played together.

Didnt Lavery and McNulty have a real purple patch at Pompey? however still think Done is easily the best partner for Sharp
