Mc'Nulty anyone?

In my time watching United I can only think of two players with the letters c, u, n & t in their name. Terry Curran's one, he's the other. Nuff said.
Tony Currie

Sorry.

And Cutbush. And Tom's brother Mick, who I think played for our reserves.

If he came back, he'd be very much at the back of the line regards strikers. Frankly, he's no more than a lower L1 / L2 player, so he's probably as well going back to Portsmouth where they seemed to like him. Get a few quid of of the deal and move on as we move up.

Haven't seen enough of him plus he hasn't pulled up an trees anywhere else, last season maybe give a chance nothing to lose, this season? Will be aiming higher I hope

He's actually dropped down to 2nd on my Cunt List.

Behind that jug-eared little shitbag at Brum, who I hope gets a testimonial at Ilkeston.....when he's 22.

Don't worry, even if he has a good career he'll do a Windass by the time he's 35.

When I saw him in pre season I thought he looked OK and looked as though he was trying but as many have said we have had 4 managers now who havent like him so there has to be something in it. We need someone who is tall and pacy with a physical presence as that is different to what we have. McNulty isnt different to what we have and given that we have Lavery who looks as though he has a bit of pace and enthusiasm then I would put him above MM

Yeah forgot how good him and done looked preseason, done was banging them in

This lad looks like he can play.

Great feet, good height, 23 years old and looks quite pacy. I also think he's a pal of EEL's. Looks a cracking option to me. Probably cost a few bob though.

Nothing against Mcnulty, but I really care if he ever plays for us again - I never got the love some people had for him.

That ship has sailed unfortunately.

Everybody's watching him. His value is now more than £1m.

Maybe 500k would've got him at the end of August, it would've been a perfect way to reinvest the DCL fee.

Florist supposed to be favourites according to gossip on teletext.

Lavery is better than McNulty and he's already cover. Ched would be a top signing, not because he scored 35 goals for us in the last season before he went down, but that he's still one of the best strikers at this level and looks a class above in a struggling, financially ruined, Chesterfield side

Wouldn't mind him for depth except we've got enough of that already

Oh look, it's descended into another bloody Ched thread

Because I made a mistake and I also put a question mark after a statement which was in error. I blame an overdose of Indorex Verbec cat flea spray which has done my head in. Owt else you wanna pick fault with? My fault it's raining? :)

Just for clarity wasn't picking fault - god knows I cock up enough with my fat fingers - just using a good opportunity to shoehorn a McNulty has had too many chances reference in, in a different way.

And it wasn't raining down here 'till you piped up while we're at it :-)

I'll come back on the Bogle thing then, those highlights don't look so good, about half those shots should've been saved but that first pen (take them all like that mate) the free kick and some of the others are ok. I'd stick him in the 'potential' pile. Maybe 50k and McNulty going the other way...

Said it before, McNulty is a poor man's Sharp. He's another one we were desperate to come good yet in spite of being a part of some very poor sides struggling for goals he never found his way into the first team. We've mugged Bradford by getting them to pay his wages.

He'd score more goals than Done but wouldn't run around as much - so no!

I don't mind McNulty, there is definitely something about him that's got potential, but he's not what we need here and now. So I would try and sell him to Pompey.

I'd dearly love for us to go in for Ched, but that's an argument for another day.
