I had to watch it in very slow motion to see what happened, but bottom line is that he was late and clumsy, and for that I think a yellow card was ok.
Regardless of how intentional it was, was the effect a bit similar to Vinny Jones' tackle on Liverpool's Steve McMahon in the 1988 cup final?

The clash certainly seemed to get the crowd going, Sharp got involved and we looked very much up for the fight. We didn't play great football in that first half, but there was enough happening on the pitch to keep the crowd engaged. McMahon (Tony) was quiet and didn't look to try and pick a fight/bully opponents, like he often did when he played for us.
