Maybe he doesn't have enough loyalty points....... :p
If the prince doesn’t pay for the ground he will be in breach of the agreement so McCabe has no alternative to sue for the breach; he may then end up owning the blades again and no doubt sell on to another party.

I think he's genuinely surprised by much of his support drifting away during and after the court case so he's becoming the bloke who'll tell all to anyone who will listen.
Give it a few years and he will be in the park telling any of the ducks that hang around long enough about how big a Blade he still is.

The more results we have against the likes of Arsenal etc, the more plaudits the club receives for its style of play & innovative tactics, the more points we gain in the PL, the more our manager continues to shine in his unassuming manner - the more Kev will become yesterday’s forgotten chairman.

Let go Kev It’s all over mate.

He won't sell. He didn't sell in the 20 years he was here. Nobody can tell me we weren't approached by anyone in that time. I'm led to believe a local consortium rocked up and told him they would buy the club lock stock and barrel. McCabe agreed but only if his sons could stay on. So they backed away.

These Americans - I don't think McCabe would have sold to them whatsoever. All a ruse for the court to believe he was a good owner.

Never forgave him after he sold Beattie. The rest is just bollocks.

I did want him to win, but now I'm really not sure. That could have been written by Warnock, so much "look at what I did ", when the reality, for anyone, is a bit different. The fact that he takes no responsibility for 6 years in League 1 says a great deal. If I was him, I'd leave it, be grateful to get what I'm owed, make up with the club, and buy tickets (or a posh box) so my family could still go. Alternatively, I believe tickets and boxes are available at Anderlecht and FC Brugge!!!

The OP title is misleading, he actually says he will have to sue next year 'IF' SU don't pay for the property. That's quite different. The Prince would have to be stupid to not pay for the property as this is mentioned by the judge in his final judgmental agreement.

I never fully trusted the bloke, and now he just looks like he's bitter. He needs to show some humility.

McCabe says 'I still haven't been paid the £50million for the real estate. If I don't get it, I'll sue'
That's bollocks. It's not even supposed to be paid for yet. He's just inventing a hypothetical scenario and phrasing it like he's been screwed.
I've had enough of him now.

What does he know about football though ? 22 or 26 makes no difference.

Karren Brady got put in charge of Birmingham City at 23 and she's done OK since. I'd rather have someone of that ilk than some of the old farts who you normally associate with that position in football, and especially the guy we've had at the helm for the past 20 years.

Its also reassuring to see that the majority of S24SU posters have woken up to the real persona that is McCabe. I've been telling everyone on this forum what this guy was all about since I joined, usually in a minority of one. Modesty has prevented me from saying I told you so...

Indeed, so why would did he feel the need to mention it? He brought it up, I just pasted what he said.

So, just to clarify.

1. £50m awarded. WHU bankrupted and kicked out of the league. Cockney fans all boo hoo hoo because their club has vanished due to them being cheating cunts. It's therefore feasible to assume any appeal to the FA and PL for our reinstatement would be looked upon seriously?

or

2. Settle out of court for £18 (now it's £21m) keep WHU in the PL so they can endure and inherit a free stadium, cashing in the PL riches whilst McCabe stewards the graceless fall to the third tier and assists that by helping fuck the playing staff back to the stone age and hiring hopeless managers. Fuck the Blades fans and their boo hooing.

And people used to give me pelters because I consistently criticised him. Same people who claimed the twat was our saviour and a massive Blade yet now the bodies are being dug up are now strangely quiet.

McCabe was part and parcel of our consistent demise. He finally lucked out with Wilder. Had he not hired him and Knill we'd still be in the third tier with Ryan Flynn and Conor Sammon playing for us.

Don't let the romantic notion of him being a Unitedite cloud what his failures look like and how he is addressing this a now which again, is all down to his gross incompetence.

pommpey

Some odd comments by him in there. The whole West Ham compensation story is either untrue, or fucking stupid. The club and McCabe lost tens of millions in revenue by not being a Premier League side and then play the Good Samaritan when the financial crisis hit the Icelandic banks. If it is true, this summarises why we have struggled to push on and have only done so due to an exceptional manager.

The point about his grandson seems bollocks as well, unless he is victim to the loyalty point debacle for home games? Even if the Prince doesn’t want the McCabes in the directors or corporate areas, what’s stopping him buying a ticket like the rest of us?

Nice bit of ageism from Kev too with regards the new chairman. Says he’s 22 (he is 26) and that somehow disqualifies him. This is someone who has (I suspect) had a World class education and for all intent and purposes, does not run the club, just acts as conduit between the directors and Bettis. To a point, I don’t see why age is a barometer of ability. I work with plenty of old people who are useless.
