You have to find better players who are available, wish to come to Sheffield and who meet our budget. If McB is better than the others that fit those criteria then why not. What would be the alternative ?

To be honest I thought Quinn was far better when he first started for us in 97/98.

I think there's a good argument that the Brian Deane of 1998 was a better overall player than the one who left us in 93. Pity he was here for such a brief period second time round.

SUFC and McBurnie are a very good match for each other, due to their respective levels and other factors. I don't think there's another club in the country that suits him better. If anything I thought Birmingham might have been a good move for him but it seems they're not in for him
