Couldn't give two large dumps if he doesn't come back. Unless he's gonna score a truck load. Then, my mind can be very fickle.

Kopfinest saying he’s not coming. Is he itk or just an ‘owners are skint, coh aaaaaht’ fan?
Reading his posts over the past couple of days were really challenging, never known anyone to cream themselves over such an average footballer in my life. Talks like some plastic gangster too. 🤦🏻‍♂️

You advocating signing John Egan again? Enda Stevens? Max Lowe? All available I believe.

We still obviously have Jack Robinson who I assume you want to start every game?
Only two of those played in that first PL season and both are now into their 30s and past their best.

OM should still be in his prime.

I tagged him and pointed out he can maintain his Spanish by joining us and speaking to the new manager.

If he doesn’t follow their sound advice then he’s a moron and we don’t want him back.

If he doesn’t follow then he’s clearly a learned individual focused on self improvement and we should welcome him with open arms.

Like Biggsy I am of course covering all bases to say later on ther I knew that would happen 🤣

Come on, apart from a few injuries, not his fault, he was a great player for us, always got us on our feet, runs is socks off, isn't afraid to stick himself where it hurts, had heart, passion, just a typical Blade, and id take him back in a heartbeat!
He would be great around the team, I think he'd get on great with Hamer, Barry and Ohare, the young lads know him, why does anyone think having him back on a free, is a bad idea???

Are better players than McBurnie available? Of course they are. Can we afford them? Perhaps not.

At the end of the day, the purpose of any transfer window is to try and make a team stronger, for the level at which it is competing. If anyone is telling me that losing Moore and gaining McBurnie does not make our forward line stronger, then I simply don't know how I can help them.

Anyone against the signing for fitness concerns I absolutely understand their point and would be inclined to agree.

For anybody against the signing because he stamped on someone’s phone and played dress up (like a lot of our 50 year old fans do in away ends) then I think you’re foolish, the bloke was early/mid 20’s. He’s now 29 and a father, those days are behind him.

I also don’t understand the argument that ‘he’s shite’ he was another wilder signing for big money who was immediately asked to play a completely different role to the one he’d been very effective at against us for Barnsley and Swansea. He is not a target man, yet was asked to be almost immediately, it used to drive me insane. Get the ball on the ground around him and he’s extremely productive at creating chances and moving the ball out wide, his movement is also very underrated. I think, fitness issues resolved he’d be a hell of an asset under selles, make him play football instead of treating him like Darius Henderson. Even to counter my point - the last disastrous prem campaign against man city at home. The difference when he came on was astonishing, albeit replacing Benie or osula (can’t remember which) we instantly had an outlet, the ball stuck up top and we actually had a little threat, I half hope he does go to Ipswich, bags 25 and then listen to some of our fans still insist he’s crap.

It's a weird one for me this.

I was never particularly a fan. He may be the worst striker of a football I've ever seen. He's also up there with the slowest. He spent most of his time here being crap, and even managed a 43 game spell without scoring. 43. Up front. That's diabolical levels of incompetency.

However, he's a definite upgrade on Keiffer Moore, so, whatever.
