That’s not funny. F**ck the lazy scouser but the issue with Oli is are we making things better or making do! If the latter it makes one wonder about the player budget.I’ve heard double signing incoming.
McBurnie and Lundstram.
Was just going to post the sameI'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
Easily one of our more divisive players in recent years. I’m not surprised at all tbf.I'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
Exactly this! How can we be so pathetically parochial as this? All the forwards in the world to look at and we go back in for someone as bad as McBurnie- it's would be laughable if it wasn't so depressing.
Surprised at the reactions

100% this.I like McBurnie but I’ll be disappointed if he returns..
Maybe I’m alone with this but after the disappointment of missing out on promotion I took some comfort in the idea that the new owners would bring new ideas and a new means of recruitment then 2 weeks later we are bringing McBurnie
You mean players like….McBurnie is better than Moore no question..
..however..
He’s injury prone.
He doesn't score enough
It means we are doubling down on last season’s style of play and taking a ‘one more heave’ approach.
Why aren't we looking at quick powerful strikers that make the opposition defenders defend ten yards deeper as they worry about pace getting around the back?
my only issue is that yes he was incredible at the start of the 2019 & 2022 seasons but his best attribute for majority of his spell was his defensive skills defending corners. & we are buying a striker to score goals not prevent themI'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
Before Campbell was fit enough and we were playing Moore up too on his own with blaster in the side I thought Mcburnie would have fit that side perfectlyI actually think that he would link up really well with Campbell....
Me too. Suspect that as usual there's a difference between unpopular on this forum and unpopular in the wider fanbase, though.I'm surprised how unpopular this move is.
When it looked like he might be coming in JanuaryBefore Campbell was fit enough and we were playing Moore up too on his own with blaster in the side I thought Mcburnie would have fit that side perfectly
That reminds me of that video of him stomping on that phoneMcBurnie's only 29, physically he should be approaching the peak of his career. Only question for me is if he's calmed down off the field.
Queue shadowy images, bits of legs arms and then lights come on and music changes to return of the mac, and mcB is stood there rubbing hands together slow motion, staring down camera.Media team currently asking permission from Eminems record label to use...."guess who's back, back again"....in the promotion video

Easy this media lark.
(Although they used that tune with mcatee).
